Lance, they are open to public access.

I have the LMs and will be visiting them later. Perhaps she wants to control traffic flow to them so doesn't want to advertise them?

might be, but then why is she advertizing them in pretty much every thread in here that talks about places to go?

I'm not, Lance. I have mentioned it a couple of times.

Once because people said there is no place to sail.

Once because people said everyone has ban lines up and they can't explore.

Once here because someone needs a sim where they won't be banned or booted for roleplaying a family.

See, some might see that as a gracious invitation. Rather than "bragging" (about what?). Rather than "advertising" as in profiting. Especially since I don't stand to make much if any L$ off it (I posted those others before I even had 7 Seas, and that only gives 20 percent - wow, a whole $50 Lindens. IF people buy there. The roadside lot sells nothing at all.)

If you want to put your home in threads here for anyone to drop in on, or in your Picks, go ahead. I'd much rather know who's visiting and why. Especially since I seem to draw hostility lately for no real reason, other than giving my opinion and or disagreeing with someone.

Or even for inviting people to share my land for free. LOL Gee this forum has been fun lately.

WHAT is so bad about asking people to IM me for a landmark anyhow!? Can you tell me what your problem is with that, that you'd post multiple times, criticising me for "advertising"?? Even after the OP said she had the info? I sent it to her the same day I posted, IIRC. (FYI advertising it might be - if I DID put the location. As well as $L profited.)

Even WITH shops I'd rather get people passing through or by. That is just me.

(Do you know what per se means, by the way? Or the difference between public access - i.e. no ban line - and putting something in search and picks, therefore allowing anyone at any time?)

Lance - How is she advertising them if she isn't adding a location. That wouldn't be a very good advert would it?! I am thankful she sent me the LMs in world - they are ideal for what we are looking for and I happen to think it is very nice of her to invite us to her land. It is after all her land to do with as she wishes. If she doesnt want every Tom, Dick and Harry stopping by then that is her decision.

Clarissa - thank you for the LMs. Ignore the idiots who don't seem to comprehend. The locations are wonderful. I was without internet access yesterday so am very sorry it has taken so long to check them out. They are ideal as a quiet get away and myself and Sookie will certainly be including them.

Ambrosia - The places included on our blog and sent to the group will be for families of all types. My partner and I only have a prim baby at the moment - we sadly lost our daughter. But the group is designed for people with tummy talkers, child avs, prim babies... every family really.

Shannon - thank you, SO much. I appreciate the support a whole lot. I seem to be taking a beating in the forums lately! Lol.

Ambrosia - most certainly (families with prim baby are welcome) as far as I am concerned, and from what I gather the list will be so also.

My basic feeling is, it's SL, anyone is welcome, my only rule is politeness to others, which I don't feel will be a problem.

I tested out a sailboat rezzer, motorboat rezzer etc., last week, but in testing, they kept capsizing. So I think I will put a box there, that people can get a free sailboat to use instead. And I will pick up the one I have rezzed so it is not in the way (I use the same freebie one, and it works great, so I have yet to buy one. Also if that one gets caught in a ban line no loss. Lol)

P.S. Shannon I forgot to add - Sookie? I love that show too. :)

You might check out the etopia sims....lots of nice green natural space as well as a number of educational exhibits all set in a sustainable community. there are train rides, gondola rides, mountain to climb etc. and someone just set up a playground which is cool.
