Hi Guys and Gals... I wasn't sure where to post this, but this seemed like the most appropriate section.
I have just started a group for families to join called "Family Circle". basically it is a group to promote family friendly sims within SL. They are so difficult to find without sifting through a ton of x-rated stuff first.
We will also be arranging get togethers and a blog so all sim details are available permanently.
But enough about that, my question is:
"Do you know of any great family friendly sims where mums, dads, and kids can go and not be made to feel uncomfortable with their prim babies or tummy talkers?"
If so, or even if you own a sim that is designed for the above, please feel free to drop me a line in world.
Thank you so much!
And please don't make this a debate over whether you agree with child AVs in SL and so on and so forth. If you don't agree with them, or think it is odd then that is your choice, but please respect that some people do and understand that this thread isn't for those opinions.

When you do get one, have 7Seas fishing contests. I think its cute to see children fishing side by side with their parent(s0. Some of the places where they hold contests ban child avies and naturally these children are very offended.

I have 7 seas at 2 locations and no one ever uses them. More than welcome to. If you want a LM ask me by IM in SL or a note card in SL.
Anyone is welcome in fact, I do not judge by avatar but by behavior. So anyone nice is welcome. One of the docks is a great place for sailing, and it's public rezzing. So you can rez your own boat and sail.
I have a public rez spot alongside a road too, so you can go for a family drive, if you want that LM just do the same - note card or IM in SL.

Try the "Livingtree" sim. Has a playground, fishing, swimming, skate park (on the roof of the school), birthday party pavillion, Kid's skins and clothes and toys for sale, and is all G-rated fun.
And Marianne McCann does fireworks shows there regularly.

Oh great call. Livingtree is great. I think that is where Marianne holds her weekly fireworks too?

Please can you publish the list somewhere of these places? Pep (So that those of us who don't want to have our conversations interrupted by embryos can avoid them. )

I have nothing special against tummy talkers, I tend to dislike any form of chat spam. But not because it's babytalk.
Only time I am 'against' it is in a club but then I also am 'against' any form of chat spam in clubs as I often post here about that. That includes woooo, and wolf pictures, and I love that tuuune and all of that stuff, along with it.
I don't go to clubs any more because of that Lol.
But I have nothing against anyone else's roleplay so long as it's within TOS and RL laws.

"Mouse World" is one of my favorite PG places to go. Of course, I've always been a big Disney fan. I miss having an annual pass to Disneyland.

From: Lightwave Valkyrie nice idea, you can uncheck adult and mature in search it will help you in your quest Unfortunately not always. Do a search for school with it unchecked and see how many places you find that are for kids!! Its extremely difficult to find good places so myself and some other mums thought it was a good idea to start a group, announce them and arrange family days to socialise with one another.

/me comes in to say "Livingtree," reads the thread, and realizes she's been beat to the punch. Also, look for the Second Child Network kiosk behind the Kick The Can building. You'll find many other sims.

I often see kid avatars and families on my sim and they are very welcome.
It's not specificky designed that way but there are enough things that they told of they liked.

From: Rhonda Huntress Is Bedrock still around? Yes. I thought it had been sold but the parcel I saw must've been its prior home. The link in my Picks still works. Bedrock is a Flintstones cartoon sim, for those who haven't seen that cartoon.

They're not open to the public, per se.
It's a rather quiet sim, despite more and more stores popping up; this way I can control traffic a little bit.
Anyway, I don't really like putting things in Picks like that. I try to highlight other people's stuff.

Lance, they are open to public access.
I have the LMs and will be visiting them later. Perhaps she wants to control traffic flow to them so doesn't want to advertise them?
