It's more a question of principles... most of us don't beg, we earn our money working, you might not know how to script, or build, but you might have a chance as host, or model, SL isn’t for beggars but for entrepreneurs, if you look carefully you might see some job where you are good and successful … and before you find it fascinating again, no, I never beg and hate beggars. You must make your choice: buying lindens or work for them; if not you have to stick for freebies

'Proud' is a judgement call. There could be many reasons why Windswept feels the way she does about being given money and items, and telling her it's because "you are too proud" sounds like an accusation.

There are times where they offer it for reasons I do not feel are right. I am the same in RL I do not accept money from strangers. From the time I started SL i have looked for jobs to earn money in SL till i learned skills to make money. I went to classes , i read, i watched tutorials till i learned the skills i needed to give me what i wanted in SL. I then used my first land to start a business at no point did i beg from others. Too proud no just maybe my background has taught me if you want something its worth working for.

I know that but its too hard to find a job for me,because i'm not good with people (but i'm sure you see that )so,i can't work like host,and that job its really easy to get,besides,i don't know english good,so that is problem too.And this time in sl,its confuse for people who dont live in that time zone.And i dont have a credit card for buying lindens.

It will be easy if you join groups of ppl that are online at the same time as you and if it is for host you might try a club of ppl from your country... I'm saying host but you can try also journalism

I have big problems with sl right now,but you can send IM.

Is it just me or is this person very evasive in answering a simple question like where are you from? Maybe they are from some common place and putting it all on hoping for sympathy.

I have met hostesses who are not native english speakers and they do a great job. All skills for the position can be taught same as for dancers (hell I even teach that to ppl and for free )
Even people skills can be taught and if you really want a job ad learn how to work in a club in the position of hostess or dancer I would be willing to talk to you and even help you but only if your willing to put effort in

People skills nothing...a lot of clubs now either seem to use bots or just let their "hosts" spam the room with copy and pasted Wooooo and Partyyyyy and "Welcome (fill in name here) to Club Gestures!"

People skills are much better.
