A Parcel History Tab in About Land would be interesting, to be able to see who the previous owners were and how much each bought and sold a parcel for.

Wow, I thought mainland was supposed to be cheaper than private estates! 12L/sqm is quite high in my book! Nope, you have the LL security factor to take into account on mainland which adds to the value of a mainland parcel. |

I did a land search on mainland today and I came up with absolutely nothing. Now I know there is a ton of land for sale because I see yellow all over the place. Would someone please bang my head against the wall and tell me what I am doing wrong or is the dang thing broke?

No, I don't really think that is good. It is just one of those unique deals where it is on the edge of the sim, good looking sim, and there are a ton of protected Linden ocean sims connected to that parcel. So, what is the upper limit I should be placing? The last land I bought was at 8L per square meter, and it has been a long time since I had that land, so I do not really know what the smart thing is here. same here 8L I refuse to pay more than 8L per sm wish it would drop down like it used to be way back when heh _____________________

I would land shop by map hopping. Look at yellow plots in terrain that looks nice to you and start popping around to different yellow plots, and see if they are in your price range. _____________________

Look at yellow plots in terrain that looks nice to you and start popping around to different yellow plots, and see if they are in your price range. Consider this a blatant advert for my land store in Steamboat sim. It's mainly focussed on rentals though to be honest. Regardless, I strongly discourage anyone from flying around and trying to find a parcel to buy. Just work out what you're prepared to pay and do a search for everything <= to that (For Sale - Mainland only of course). Then reverse sort by Area and you now have the largest parcels you can afford in an easy to access list. Teleport to the ones that look good and pick from there. I guess this only works reasonably if you're looking for a parcel over L$40,000 or so otherwise the choice will be overwhelming. _____________________
Visit http://ninjaland.net for mainland and covenant rentals or visit our amazing land store at Steamboat (199, 56).
Also, we pay L$0.15/sqm/week for tier donated to our group and we rent pure tier to your group for L$0.25/sqm/week. Free L$ for Everyone - http://ninjaland.net/tools/search-scumming/ |

Thought I would start looking there first before I went land hopping. _____________________
