From: Lexxi Gynoid 3 inches? The first snow flake seems to drive people insane. 80 gallons of water, kitty litter, bread, milk, the supermarkets end up stripped bare. Three inches never made anyone strip bare... Sorry, I know is not Friday yet...! Gods i need a cup of coffee. .d

Omigod! Maybe I'm a CIA agent so deep undercover even I don't know about it?!
The same thoughts expressed in this article occurred to me nearly a year ago, as I was first becoming active in SL. Virtual worlds like this would make very good media for secretly and anonymously passing money, messages, or instructions among co-conspirators worldwide. And notice it was Linden Lab that approached the feds with concerns.
I'm glad people are thinking about this - and for once, before the train wreck.

I'm surprised the New York Times didn't get that one. They're usually good at those scare mongering stories.

"U.S. intelligence officials..." The first few words of the article is enough to make you realize it's the idiots in charge of this. Arent these the same guys who said "HEY! Iraq has WMDs!!!" Just cuz you're not paranoid doesnt mean they're not out to get you!

Even those countries opposed to the invasion. As well as Iraq's neighbor countries, former Iraqis, AL Queda and so on. What short memories people have. ------------- At the time it would have been more far out to claim they didn't.

Caledon does not, I repeat, NOT have weapons of mass grid destruction. That said, NO international inspectors will be allowed in! All who try will be dumped into our giant shark aquarium that we are making for the express purpose of dissuading inspectors. Also, the myth that we are hiding kidnapped avatar-scientists left over from the fateful Nualtenburg war are 110% false. Suspected arms-dealer, weapons expert and potential creator of WGD (weapons of grid destruction) Ordinal Malaprop *is* in the region but is now completely reformed, and selling tasty holiday bon-bons. Nothing more! Here, have one...

From: Har Fairweather It's more like What convenient memories people have, Colette. Especially the ideologically motivated. Considering they are the only country that had used chemical weapons since World War 2, I wonder why people try to deny that was the consensus. --------------------- (as far as I knew and a little googling has told me anyhow. 25,000 dead due to chemical attacks during the Iran-Iraq war in the late 80's.)

I have a black tranchcoat. Can I be a spy?
I'm officially announcing my availability to the highest bidder for any and all espionage related assignments. My qualifications are the aforementioned trenchcoat, a healthy dose of sneakiness, excellent gambling skills (for those James Bond in Monte Carlo type assignments) and the ability to speak one language with a third grade level of fluency. I can also ride a jetski, escape from all sorts of dangerous situations (as long as TP isn't borked), and I haven't been eaten by sharks or cut in half by a laser beam yet. I defeated the evil overlord Tegg Bode and rescued Lindal in an epic short story written by me.
Good enough? I think I might have made sweet, sweet love to Osama once in the Hanson Infohub free newbie sex room, but I swear, I thought he was a woman.

I've been wondering what all the ad farmers have been doing with all that money they've been earning. Planning their nefarious plots for global domination I see.

From: Colette Meiji You must have missed the Trout Junior thread. Trout Junior? Oh right. I've seen daughters with the same name as mothers, but you very rarely see a daughter called junior or II, or III or Elizabeth II. So, I guess that in and of itself makes Trout male. Or that rare female situation. Or royalty.

Although he does have that singing and dancing talent. Ooh, ok. Wait. What is "Trout Junior" then? A long time ago, and actually my current "avatar" on the SL forums, involved a "junior."
