Oh good, we'll probably need that. Otherwise we'd be stepping out for Beef Breaks.

/me digs up an old blog transcript of a Cory THM.. http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/01/09/cory-lindens-town-hall-transcript/ Yep. And if they did decide to use PhysX on the server side, they'd have a bit of an issue getting it into the 5000+ servers already on the grid. Servers that today don't even have any real graphics hardware... I don't really know much about this Physx but maybe there's something that could be done to improve the client side rendering, using the existing movement data coming from the sim as hints to PhysX... I think that log is from before Nvidia got Aegia not? At begining Aegia cards werent good recieved... but when Nvidia got Aegia, the Physx features got another point of view, and the new games will use it. Like ati got Havok for work the physx in their cards! So i hope Linden start to think about anyday^^ |

Hm yeah, impressive simulation but... this is a game and not an open virtual world, and looking at the emphasis on hot babes it seems to be targeted to a young male audience. I prefer SL over "fashion show games" and "online music dance games" a 100 times .
