well... NEW development: according to my neighbor NOT on my sim, it seems my sim is now home to a new sandbox for gaming and grief tool creation (including on the land i just sold UGH)... altho i have never seen anyone there... apparantly the griefers i was worried about upsetting are trying to take over the sim... i have a feeling i have only just begun. however, having said that, it seems my issues remain only on my land, or very near it, so my quest to determine if it is my builds (mega prims, sculpties, scripts & my attachments) also, i do not have build on for anyone but group (group owned land). i am constantly returning items to a person who has NOT bought any original items from my land, and it might be that they are primmies from this previously mentioned sandbox deal... i jsut don't know, because i can never find them before returning. i really have so many directions to look at, it's overwhelming. thanks for putting in so much time on me with this. i might be moving sooner than expected if i can't resolve this.

I can't imagine a worse new neighbor. That's like having a garage band move into the house next door in RL. Sorry to hear about that.

This sounds like a bit of a challenge; I'm curious now. I can't log in now, but if I can, I'll check the place out. It's almost assuredly *not* from scripts or megaprims - two very misunderstood 'lag' items. #1 serverside lag culprit on the grid by far is still texture cache of the region overloading, induced by 'too much to see' and the region not recovering gracefully. Another common one is high density of polygons + textures and not enough of it occluding within a relatively small area, so your graphics card is overwhelmed. If it's not one of those two, well... if you see hoofprints, assume horses before zebras (unless you are in Africa). Both of those are easy enough to check if you know how - but it's a bit of a long forum post to explain - I'll come by and check it out if I can.

thanks Desmond. i've had a few others come, and everyone approaches the possibilities from a different angle, yet all seem plausible. i contacted the owner and asked him if he wanted to buy my land, which i have just put up for sale.
edit: for sale at 8.65m in the meantime, tomorrow i am changing the format of the land to make it more desireable to a potential buyer....
