just edit the notecard to add: NOT ANY MORE and return it.

just edit the notecard to add: NOT ANY MORE and return it. Or, edit it to outline the terms for a generous child support payment and return it. |

What's his name? Maybe I should give you both notecards inviting you to be guests on a virtual Jerry Springer Show.

send the guy ( if you remember who) a notecard telling him he is now responsible for all cost associated with your confinement as well as future costs for the childs upkeep. There will also be the cost of a home for you and your child till said child is 21

And tell him that the child has some incredibly expensive incurable disease and ask him to pay for treatment. Might as well go all out.

Usually you have to do something to get pregnant. Did you actually RP getting naughty with some guy in SL, or are we talking a chicken-hopper here (if you ever seen chickens have sex... its so fast sometimes the poor hen doesn't know she's been boinked)...
If all you have is some silly notecard, you can just ignore it. If you've gone full out and gotten yourself one of those crazy pregnancy kits... well, that's your kink and you might as well run with it until sims start banning you for noisy chatter. Personally, at 5 days into SL - you would be VERY unwise to be getting into any serious relationships. I'd say you should ignore this, laugh it off, and move on. Course I happen to think the same for people a few years in, but that's me. I think most people would agree on the 5 days in call though. _____________________

The person who gave you the note card is called a "griefer". He probably noticed you were only a few days old and wouldn't know he couldn't do this. There are occasional creeps who like to target new residents for fun. You should be OK.

you can't lose your soul either, just in case that pops up later.
I just thought, we'd all look silly if she came back later and said, "omg I was pregnant, I gave birth to a prim 9 weeks later". |

thank the person for the hilarious toilet paper tissue and then mute them. There are loads of people in sl and unless you get a thrill from a head f*ck, you dont need to deal with this idiot.

Yes - as others said, don't worry about it. I don't know what you might've clicked on to get that note card (if you go to your transactions history here at the website after clicking 'my account' you might see if someone handed it to you), but it's meaningless UNLESS you CHOOSE to roleplay it.
Avatars in SL do not get pregnant. However, some people roleplay pregnancies by fattening up their av, and then going out and buying a 'prim baby' or a baby made of building material (prims). Basically they carry around a talking doll. IRL, that would get you confinement in a different type of environment... _____________________

I got knocked up by a giant pickled gherkin first night I was here. Next day it was a jellyfish.
Seriously, why do men think women want to have their kids in sl? What is so alluring to them about child support?? _____________________

To the OP: did you 'take a pregnancy test'? Far as I know that is the only way to get a 'result.' Yes, they have roleplayed 'pregnancy tests' in SL.
I can see valid reasons for wanting to roleplay all of this, (such as, someone just wanting to roleplay-experience pregnancy, perhaps who can't in RL); but it's a bit weird if it was forced upon her. So to speak. _____________________

Always cracks me up especially becuase they are serious in asking. With a name like "Gummo" for a divorce lawyer, my mind boggles! And by way of this, I actually did have to negotiate a settlement with my ex. I had to pay HIM a HUGE sum for land I shared with him. Anyone would think it was all my fault. So there's real opportunity for a "lawyer" in sl land. _____________________

Always cracks me up especially becuase they are serious in asking. I have custody of my twin prim grandkids. When my rl son divorced with his SL partner, I got custody. Damn things are transferrable. |
