I'm just curious to see how many people do more than just sit on an occasional poseball at an event, or click a dance machine.

Every night, I find it a good way to wind down after a play session to go to a club, listen to some music and watch my Avitar dance around before I log off and go to bed in RL.
I love the dance animations in SL I have 43 sine wave dances on my Huddle now ![]() |

I love dancing, do it every day, but usually stick to my own dances. Dancemachines are often loaded with older SL dances that make you look like you're having a seizure of sorts. Or they have flydances - I prefer dancing on the floor (nothing like thinking you found a nice fre spot on the dancefloor and then have people land on you as the dancemachine cycles on..).

I'm just curious to see how many people do more than just sit on an occasional poseball at an event, or click a dance machine. Not too often, though I do tend to dance a bit during fireworks shows. Also, I will (rarely)end up in social situations where dancing is what everyone is doing, and I'll join in. Lastly, a good chicken dance always comes in handy f'r me whenever I wanna jes be silly for a while. I do own both a chimera and a dance ball, and have loaded them with a couple tousand lindens of dances. It's not that many, thoguh, as I tend to purchase the spendy mo cap stuff. _____________________

P.S. Option 7 was much longer, but I had to edit as it went over 100 characters.
The full version: ...everywhere! I own and use every decent dance animation, find new ways to dance, dance even at places it's inappropriate to dance. My screen is covered in huds to dance. It isn't enough to just click a dance machine, I must control my dance pace to the music playing. I've made the best dance creators very rich in SL. I'm addicted to dancing and proud of it! these would be the folks I'd love to meet up with sometime inworld!_____________________

I haven't danced much yet. Then again, I just shed my noob look last night.
![]() I plan to get out a few nights a week to dance and mingle. With the key word there being mingle. But dancing for it's own sake? Meh...there are other things in sl that interest me more. |

I work at a great club as a hostess and dancer. I use my huddles which is loaded with about 25 dances.
We don't just sit on poseballs or the dance machine but there is a lot of chatting and joking as we dance. I love it, I have met some wonderful friends at this club. |

At a combined value of over L$4000; My Chimera holds just about my greatest level of investment in SL, and I trigger it on most any occasion. Even something as simple as a good music stream in a sandbox. So.... Yeppers.... I dance. (^_^)y

Love to dance!! It's fun listening to the music, chat with the people around me...and hey, if no one's around, I just sort inventory or open boxes and such.

I don't really go to events that often, I have friends that are DJs and they msg to remind they have a gig and I go if I am in the mood or feel like socializing or making an appearance.
But I dance all over SL, when the mood strikes or a good track comes on my foobar, building sometimes, lol, if there was a waiting line I would get all ADD and kick in a dance anim Then I use dances where you are all over the place.Mostly I use my own bought anims that keep you in a small radius, I don't like the dancing thru/mowing into crowds. Lame but I like the sync dancing w/ friends too. _____________________

I'm in several groups with DJ's and they are always holding dances mainly in the Portuguese speaking part of SL. All my dance animations are freebies so far or ultra cheap. I didn't know people bought those things except to put in big dance balls.

I dance occasionally. Its not something I set out to do on a regular basis tho. I have purchased abotu 2000L in dances tho they are rarely used, like a lot of things, just collecting dust

I used to dance more often than I do now. I hardly ever go to clubs any more. Too busy building. But when I do go to a dancing place, yes, I dance. Sometimes with what they have in-place, and sometimes with my own dance animation gadgets.

I have around 10 sine wave dances I use regularly. Most are club/breakdance dances, a couple chill/hip hop style, and a couple "sexy" dances for when the mood strikes. I am very picky though, so out of 30 different dances, I might feel like only buying a couple of them. Since I've tried most of the current stuff at sine wave, my dance collection hasn't grown much lately. Plus, finding good dance anims for guys is a difficult task.
I use to have Huddelz, but then it blew up on me and I lost a few thousand lindens worth of dances, so I stopped using it. Plus, in really laggy clubs, the HUD is next to impossible to use. My freebie chimera hasn't given me any problems yet, and I just make multiple copies of it and put different dances in each. I have a "club dance" chimera, "chill dance" chimera, etc. Since I started hanging out with this girl I've been using the Intan Dance Balls more often too. They're actually not too bad if the club owners invested in some money into it. I still like the simple "slow dance 4" though... call me a softy, I dare you. For solo dancing though, I still prefer my own stuff, though Intans are nice because a lot of places won't let you rez your own poseballs. |

Oh yes, dancing is my way of having an IM converstion. I like trying different dances and it gives my AVI something to do while I chat.
At partys or events I typically concentrate on the person I am dancing with and sort of half listen to the local chat. "CX" _____________________

I don't own any dances but when I am out exploring with M'lady and we come across a dance floor we always stop for a dance.

I'm just curious to see how many people do more than just sit on an occasional poseball at an event, or click a dance machine. This one here: "I dance at events sometimes and own and use more than 10 dance animations I've purchased", though it isn't an option. I have also just started dancing in a random sim (non-dance club), just because. I almost never use dance machines. I like being in control, starting and stopping the dance when I want to do so, like when the song ends, without having to touch something. Or go through lots of motions and keyboard work to get myself to stop moving. _____________________

Even something as simple as a good music stream in a sandbox. So.... Yeppers.... I dance. (^_^)y I can state without restraint that at least one of Immy's dances is quite good. Based on the evidence of my own eyeballs. How she got my eyeballs to dance . . . wait, that is not what I meant. _____________________
