From: Storyof Oh ok the mlp problem is increasing, i am now getting customers who are losing animations out the scripts on rezzing....everything works fine for the creator but as soon as the item is bought/transferred and rezzed the animations flag up as missing...but not on every mlp product...time to ticket linden..... nope .. your problem is that youre using the "Eva Capalini" pirate package... you can ticket all you want. it wont help. try doing some research about legal free animations.. and or purchase some full perm ones to put into your product.

Are you now saying that Linden have finally removed all the animations that were in the full perm beds sold by Eva? and that this has happened today? As this is a new problem and is not happening with every piece of furniture and is happening with modified scripted items i wondered if linked to the ~pos missing problem previously flagged? I have sold/transferred other items probably still containing some of the original Eva bed animations and no problems. A previous recent ticket over mlp to linden was not replied to as the Eva scenario and my understanding was affected items had Eva as creator. If the animations have now been pulled then very little furniture in sl will now be working this is the error code animation '****' not in inventory (ok for build-in animations, otherwise check)

quite a long time ago several of the animations in the eva set were taken away... that was after the thing with the disappearing scripts.. copies that ppl made worked until transfered.. and when transferred the animations would go poof.
use mlpv2... get a set of animations that are ok... especially if youre charging for your stuff.
the other day a friend of mine brought a cuddle corner she had bought for 900L... she bought it 2 weeks ago and it never worked.. it was mod and so i offered to fix it for her since the place she bought it hed messed with it several times and not gotten it right..
lo and behold .. inside was evas pirate set...... bloody cheeky IMO

Odd, I had a few anims on a personal item disappear recently, and they were ones that originally came via EC. Not all of them in that item, just some. I thought that episode was over, but who knows.
I'll have to check whether the prim has EC as creator. I thought I'd eradicated all of those but they have a funny way of seeming to pop back. I admit I don't have the neatest closet in SL!

From: Storyof Oh .......If the animations have now been pulled then very little furniture in sl will now be working.............. What in heavens name makes you say this? The MLP scripts were around well before this Eva person offered her collection. And it would only be items using her collection that would be affected. Sorry but I'd have to disagree that "very little furniture" would be working now. I for one have always used the Miffy Fluffy scripts and purchased animations and there were many others using them as well. Getting a little frustrated about assumptions being made by all and sundry regarding 'pirated' animations etc Seems to me anyone using MLP nowadays is suspect and that is just complete and utter bull****. ~B

eku i did pay twice for differing full perm mlp kits long before any publicity re the problems and i now make my own animations too, all part of a learning curve. Many others would also of paid full perm and got caught caught in the Eva thing as she did have a full perm bed business. A LOT of sl furniture uses the mlp script which is the OP's query. Using all your own animations still doesnt help if the mlp script is affected.
As an update the screen error re animation not being found is erroneous as the furniture still works using all the animations including those not 'supposed' to be there...the script that has stopped working is back to the ~pos script going missing. Whilst still shown in the item only clicking on it reveals whether its still there or not or an empty script box. Many users reading re missing ~pos script may assume the whole thing including the title disappears.
~pos is not just going missing upon transfer, it has gone awol in showroom items too especially those with recent scripting/menu tweaking.
'And it would only be items using her collection that would be affected.'
My comment re a lot of sl furniture ceasing to work is based on the very widespread use of the Eva mlp script package maybe handed down many times and reworked and could be lying in allsorts even if contained animations are not actually used in the items script/menu. Theres probaby few people without an old cherry wood sex bed languishing in inventory lol. It was also related to the scenario that the animations had been pulled which it now seems isnt the case.

It may be that LL is doing something about the EC content again, dispite the fact that last time it caused such an uproar they very quickly stopped doing what they were doing (deleting all EC content).
However, the ~pos script issue should have nothing to do with EC, since it's Miffy Fluffy's version of ~pos that's borked. I'm convinced this is nothing more than a normal asset server borkup.
Finally, StoryOf overstated; I think she means "lots of furniture will be damaged". Depending on what LL is doing, this may include furniture without any illegal content, plus even more furniture that end users bought thinking they were legit, and possibly some that the makers thought were legit.

yes Leah...my first ticket re ~pos came more via hearsay as when i checked ~pos was there (HOWEVER i hadn't actually discovered its disguise as an empty shell)... than what i am now experiencing and at the time Linden seemed unaware. Now that i have resubmitted quoting the 'missing from database' maybe it will 'reappear' lolll Correct this isn't an EC issue...

Lear seems to be what Johan OP said...~pos is showing as missing from database, the script shows up in the item but when opened reveals an empty script card and the database message.
This is having a knock on effect when it comes to trying to align poses until realising ~pos seems to be the culprit.
Large sellers may be best waiting for borked goods to be flagged by buyers whilst hoping Linden find and fix before checking every item individually which can be a lot of beds and furniture...?

Did you try the notice in MLPV2 group? Also, I believe someone above made one available somewhere.
