Not every "Club" is a clunky pornographic lagotastic lame build, either. Quality of both build and atmosphere varies. Agreed. However, finding a well-designed, inspirational club is like looking for Herman Miller's designs in China Town. ![]() _____________________

To a serious Nerd, Nasa is sexy and romantic. Those missile shapes are suggestive, or something ![]() A lot of them don't match, though........ _____________________

Agreed. However, finding a well-designed, inspirational club is like looking for Herman Miller's designs in China Town. ![]() The OP was asking about clubs though, its even in the Title. LOL Obviously the OP must not be a big clubber or she wouldnt be asking us .. so you can only guess she needed to know cuase her friends were interested. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On that note - Inspirational Build? Take a look at Schmooze. The building, seating, etc are all first rate. Nearly always empty though. Definitly has more the RL dimly lit longue feel and not the SL "bowling alley" one. If they like Idie rock- Try the Umbra Penumbra or the Velvet. Both definitely are alternative "scene" themed. A good Irish Pub is "The Blarney Stone" great crowd there. Sadly I dont go clubbing much anymore so I dont know the current sexy/romantic ones. Though Brenda has suggested we go out dancing soon ![]() |

I'd add Nancy Blake's to the list for Irish themed places, the entire island is a nice place to explore. The Extra Innings Pub is great if you're Sports Minded. I also like Club80's, The Mystic Swing Club, The Sphynx, Apollo, and Urbanity.

Yes, and you don't have to be a sinner to enjoy it. Yep...one of my favorite visits was spent just skating around the then-frozen harbor with my sweetie. Of course, pretty much any place can be romantic when you're with the right person; we had quite a lovely time at the Air and Space Museum too. ![]() _____________________

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

Of course, pretty much any place can be romantic when you're with the right person Therein lies the tale! There must be hundreds, if not thousands of places equally deserving a mention but we each and every one of us compile our own 'top ten'. I like places where my friends hang out, Three Lions, Taff's but fiancee wants to be alone with me so we go for White Rose at Hanging Gardens, Red Velvet. Sadly though these places that don't get lagged to death often fall on underfunding and close. Two favourites of ours Mons Venus and Cry'n Lion have now shut their doors. Things move fast in SecondLife sometimes. _____________________

Agreed. However, finding a well-designed, inspirational club is like looking for Herman Miller's designs in China Town. ![]() Actually the Elements build (at GOL 4) is an excellent one with a nice take on the modernism architecture (a la Frank Lloyd Wright). The owner has obviously taken a lot of care with the build. This does not of course obviate the fact that the OP asked about clubs, and you side tracked into a SL design and build critique ![]() _____________________

I give you a solid 8.2. You can come across as very pure if you want to, but inside, you're a dirty, dirty girl. Shame on you, and congratulations. Designer of clothes and owner of Built For Sin Designs. Come visit us at: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Centaur/5/85/399/ |

Yeah I'd say elements is a very nice design as well. It's interesting outside, and the inside flows well, is very spacious and roomy, and just quite fun and enjoyable. It kind of "feels" like a popular nightclub in RL. |

Twilight Lounge & Ravenesque(Grand Reopening Friday) Paradise Ballroom BCNI Lodge Great People, Fun and awesome music! Have to echo Maggie on both the Twilight Lounge & Ravenesque and Paradise Ballroom. Paradise Ballroom is a fabulous build emulating the 1940's jazz sounds with different music each night (Latin, Rockabilly, Swing, etc.) Definitely friendly people to greet new arrivals and make one's night enjoyable. Lots of romantic places scattered about the beach (created as a Pacific Island during WWII). Cigar Girls add a touch of nostalgia. On the same sim is a boardwalk featuring the "seedier side" of town - biker bar that features Rockabilly. And to round it out...a store on site that sells the best in vintage designers for the "look" of the club. Twilight Lounge & Ravenesque plays a variety of music...DJ's...more friendly people...fun place...great music. And for those elegant evenings out - my favorite is the Avilion Ballroom. |

Builds without people is just a museum.
When I get out and about in the grid, I go to The Velvet. _____________________

the best rave club in SL is http://slurl.com/secondlife/Isla%20de%20Muerta/45/138/26 PIRANHA ~ The Premier Virtual Rave Experience! Thanks Poopmaster! Though I recently closed PIRANHA secondary to a multitude of immoral social problems across the grid, I must agree and say nowhere else even came close. But I am the biased founder and owner. XD. |

The new Hottest Spot in SL is, without question, the Forum Hangout on the shores of beautiful Allane.
Great build, lots of toys...but the best thing is that it's practically guaranteed to be full of fun people. _____________________

You should take these people to some of the "Hottest" (read WORST) clubs in Second Life as well. The high high Popular places spots.
Its an experience everyone needs once in their Second Life |

FK's Matrix for a great build. Dance floor is on the first level, the third level is a nice lounge. It's at Norfolk (62,29,651)
Purple Moon I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Blue Note Jazz Club at The Blue Note (240,185,22). |

A new dance ball, more romantic dance pairs and more, and a widening band of music .. excellent!! _____________________
