The clubs thread raised this question, for an RL couple I know who are joining SL this week. Recommendations? Dancing, romance, and yes, the husband wants to see the sexy places... thanks.

depends on what they want
do they want tons of ppl who ignore you? (check events listings and go to any club that is hosting events, eventually you will find one that is busy) do you want ppl who will pay attention to you and mingle, then again check events and see which ones talk to you as for sexy, define sexy hehe I say either look at people's profiles and explore places in their picks, or check events for interesting places _____________________

There are a number of social places, like Blarney Stone, but they don't sound exactly what you are after.
One place definitely worth checking out is Blue Fusion Jazz Club. Seaside setting, large dance floor, outdoor night-club atmosphere, some live events. Music is smooth jazz and standards. Intention is to offer a romantic place for romantic couples. The island also offers fairly secluded grottoes behind a waterfall and a beach house for more private moments, and I guess those spots can be as sexy as the two of you want them to be. |

I'm not sure why you'd want to take them to clubs when so many other cool places exist on the grid. For example, Sinners Paradise is a whole sim full of romance and 'sexy.'

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

For pure sexy, might try Elements. The naked dancing girls there constitute a three-credit course in Gynecology 101 with great music and FAR better models than you'll see in med school. Of course, they do try to seduce you into feeding their tip jars, but hey, they're working girls, after all...

The clubs thread raised this question, for an RL couple I know who are joining SL this week. Recommendations? Dancing, romance, and yes, the husband wants to see the sexy places... thanks. My faves for dancing and romance are Moonlight Salsa and Romance on the Valentine sim, the sky dancefloor on the Apollo sim, and La Scala. Phat Cat's is also very popular, but can be laggy as a result. Bogart's is a nice jazzy scene. |

Second for Bogarts. Dress is formal...30's formal, if you can swing it.
The Moonglow Ballroom is a nice, smaller outdoor dance floor on a pretty bay. Xavier's for loud and naked people The Edge for a big crowd...including campers all around the...edge. Second Innings for a pub atmosphere. Junkyard Blues for a funky, junky, trashy build and a great jazz club. Hanging Gardens of Apollo for pretty scenery and socializing Venice for an Old World ballroom and gondola rides. Abbott's Aerodrome for Skyyyyyyydiving! Liome for a great tropical resort build and fun stuff to play with. Gee...for a stay-at-home girl, I know a lotta places. And that's before opening my Landmarks folder. |

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Just opened this weekend - Keyz Jazz Club. The setting is very cozy with dancing in a courtyard and inside...styles ranging from slow dances to ballroom dancing and tango. Great place to spend some time with your significant other while listening to Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat Cole, Mel Tourme and the rest of the great legends. Reccommend using your environment forced to midnight to truly enjoy the 1950's feel of this great new place! A definate new favorite for me!

For a club that's just plain friendly, try "Three Lions Pub". No sponsored strippers or escorts, although you never know what the patrons might be up to. It's a British club, but you'll often find any number of other nations represented. Dancing is the main thing, usually with DJ's but sometimes live musicians.
Usually tends to be lower lag than many of the super popular clubs. Great place to strike up a conversation and make new friends, as well as to see all manner of avatar getups. Not frequented much by newbies, though they are certainly welcome. Music genre varies a lot. Last time I was in, they were playing the world's worst songs, and it was a riot. Or you can get oldies, alt-rock, brit-pop, and no doubt all sorts of other stuff I wouldn't be able to name but have no trouble enjoying. Patrons run from 20's to 50's, but I suspect most are in their 30's. (I have no affiliation, other than as a patron. I don't know the management personally.) |

Yes, and you don't have to be a sinner to enjoy it. However, last time I tried, I couldn't find it. Glad to hear it's not really gone! I'll have to look again. Great ice skating there too. ![]() |

I've been to both Senses and Subtle Tease and had a great time at both. The dancers there are really entertaining and fun and the atmosphere is really steamy.
Hot Licks is also a great time if you like hard rock. It's always packed but still manages to deal with lag pretty well. Lots of events and special pre-recorded concerts there like G&R, Ozzy, and Kiss. _____________________

Great ice skating there too. ![]() Was in Wales Harbour, now in Wales I believe Lear. Second Three Lions though I have found it a trifle laggy at times. Similar vein but proudly Welsh is Taff's Bar in Cymru (no affiliation to Wales or Wales Harbour that I know of) A nice place with some great characters. One of those places you have to keep going back to, to see what the owner's done now ![]() Awww, spoilt my nice round post number ![]() _____________________

Three Lions though I have found it a trifle laggy at times. I was there once for a live music gig, it was lagalicious. Took me half the gig to get from the landing spot to the pub. |

Do NOT take them to a club, sex place, slingo area, casino, or anything similar...bleh.
Take them to a place that takes pride in their build. Something creative. Something unique. Something inspirational. Try: * Svarga * Greenies * NASA * Hollywood * Maximum Minimum * 6ixth Sense * The Ivory Tower * Nexus Prime * Glowbox Designs ![]() There are so many amazing builds out there...stay away from the usual fodder. Read blogs and the Metaverse Messenger, do research, listen to podcasts...the talent is here in spades, you just have to know where to look. _____________________

Oh and if we're giving tips...... Inspire beach and chill park, wonderful place to explore, tons of stuff to do and romatic dance floor under the stars. PLus you can share a very nice space meditation together.
Edit to add : Acropolis..... also very nice and lots of tours to enjoy together, plus dance floor etc. Can be laggy as hell though. |

To a serious Nerd, Nasa is sexy and romantic. Those missile shapes are suggestive, or something ![]() |

Not every "Club" is a clunky pornographic lagotastic lame build, either.
Quality of both build and atmosphere varies. |
