Oooo, ooo I need to add one

Secure transactions!

If I buy something, then there should be some sort of secure mechanism to make sure that I only get charged for something I receive. The banks can do it on their ATM-type transactions - if the power fails or whatever you don't get debited for money you didn't get.

Bank not always has this fully automatic in at least one case:when you get cash from ATM it's possible to have money debited from card but not get cash. In my cases this required visits to bank and waiting some days.

1. Change the hosting model. It's silly to have 100 or more servers sitting, essentially idle, running regions that have no avatars and no active scripts, while the regions that people do want to visit are overloading. It's silly to have restrictive geography in a world that doesn't need it. It's silly to have to pay a thousand dollars for 512sqm2 of empty space. ...

Yumi, could you explain this one to me? I can get my head around a scheme that would "load share", letting servers that aren't being used heavily support regions that need it. But I don't get the point about "no restrictive geography". How can you have a "world" without some sort of defined map? If I pay a fee for server space, how do I keep someone else from cluttering it up with his prims unless I can fence it off somehow...in other words, "own land"?

Or would you have every parcel as its own little "world", connected to other places by portals? That might be fun...certainly the Portals game is a hoot...but would it be anything like a "world"? Or more like the web, a big interconnected heap of independent sites?
