I stopped camping ohh! at least 6 months ago. But hey your right, the amount of time I spend on SL I'd make much more money camping LOL!

*grins* Oh, given that some places pay L$2 per 10 minutes.. yes.... And the added bonus that while you might be adding to their traffic, you essentially cutting into their profits, it's priceless!

I stopped camping about the time Dev Incentives went bye-bye. It gave my poor avatar something to do and a bit of start-up seed for what I really love doing.

The opening page will also still say "offline", when in fact, it is on. It's best to check the blog instead. Does anyone know how long it will be offline today?

I stopped camping when I realised luxury hotels were much better and also had wireless Net access, cable TV, minibars and good baths...

Even the website here had problems only seconds before the massive logoff.......Indeed the grid monekys got his banana stuck some where where it hurts at this moment.

if you put in a support ticket to request that info, Linden Labs will let you know the exact amount of time it was off in 3 weeks time

Ya know, it's very frustrating when the grid is down. People can't get to their homes, their jobs, their friends. But...stop and consider the alternative...no SL at all?

The grid is based on computers, people. They fail. They get bugs. Who among us has never, not ever once, experienced a computer failure at least once in their lives?

Give them a break.

[UPDATE 07:50 AM PST] A fix for the asset servers is on the way. At this point, access to the grid is still restricted to Linden Lab Employees only.

Well during my 3 years i supported these types of problems times. But not anymore. Not after their lack of repect for us here. The earned it that way. Nobody likes to be depressed or have their fun time or business taken down ( Without warning mind you) . Given them a break? Well i tell you waht give me 2 months worth of tiers and 1 months of membership monies as a kick back and i say i support llabs again.

I don't drink enough ... perhaps that's the problem! Maybe that's why I don't have any sour lemons for the bitter!
