Antidisestablishmentarian ...
are you apposed to the separation of church and state or did you just like the long word?

I think both church and state should be merged together in a wood chipper ;) And it was the longest word that fit the limits of SL's first name policy.

And it sort of matches the last name since it was around then there was the best made goth buildings.

Sling Trebuchet is a brilliant name. You could have been Toss Mangonel or Lob Onager, of course.
I have always thought it was one of the coolest names around.

See that's the kind of thinking-outside-the-box we could use more of in our world leaders.

I was happy with it until I found out that balut is some sort of Asian delicacy based upon bloody aborted duck embryos. Yuk!

Looking into the meaning names after the fact does seem to be a recipe for possible discontent.
But it's silly. Nobody else might be moved to go digging.

In your case, the only people likely to know the meaning think that it's a delicacy.
So you're a delicacy to some and an interesting name to others.

I think I managed to pick the SL equivalent of 'Smith'. I've seen my surname used in many blogs as a standard surname for an avatar, much as you might use 'Joe Bloggs', but in these cases it's often more as a figure of fun or amusement. Blog about a griefer whose name you can't quite remember, and you're likely to come up with 'GriefingBastard Dagger' as a name for him than 'GriefingBastard [other surname choice]'.

Eh, I don't much care, anyway. *g*
