[Resolved] 1:29pm SLT: Our grid hamsters inform us that log-outs are now possible from Text-SL

[Unresolved] 1:30pm SLT: Our grid hamsters apparently had their heads stuck in the wheel when making that report. Don't forget to check out this snazzy new shiny thing though <dangle dangle> while we attempt to extract our crania from our posteria!

[Unresolved] 9:30pm SLT: We have finally determined that the failure was caused by one cage of hamsters operating the backup wheels, being fed peanuts every 23 hours instead of every 23 minutes. This was a matter entirely out of our control and we are endeavouring to replace these hamsters with temporary guinea pigs before a longer-term permanent solution involving the use of a ferret.

Due to overwhelming demand, TEXT-SL is proud to announce that,after years of R&D, we are introducing Graphics to TEXT-SL. Residents will need a new viewer and the name of the game will change to SL.

This does NOT mean that text will disappear. Not all residents will choose to adopt graphics, and therefore they will be free to retain a text-only environment. Indeed, even after downloading the new viewer, residents will be able to uncheck the 'Enable graphics' box in Preferences.

After extensive testing, we can announce that enabling graphics will make no difference to the speed of the game, and that there will not be extra lag as a result.
