Are they the same people the Forum Moderation was outsourced to last October?

Are they the same people the Forum Moderation was outsourced to last October? LOL wonder what happened to that, maybe they could outsource Kingdon's job in fact the whole upper management could be outsourced at the same time. _____________________

Hey, there's been a lot of land support outsourced to land barons for cash, effectively... why not this?
I'm good with it. _____________________

Hey, there's been a lot of land support outsourced to land barons for cash, effectively... why not this? I'm good with it. I'm more wondering about what happens if I do a live chat to ask for some help with my home sim. Will I get a Linden with a clue or somebody that's never even used SL before? _____________________

I'll tell ya a secret I shouldn't... if that happens, tell someone with a ton of private regions and have one of us check things out. Most of us will be able to say stuff like "the image cache is overloaded, all it needs is a restart" or "you've clearly got a bazillion ghosted, prim~unassociated scripts running ~ do X, Y, Z to fix please?" As for policy stuff, like what the neighbours are doing that might be questionable, that's always subjective and kinda hit and miss. _____________________

FJ Linden's reply from the blog:
Any outsourcer or partner we would use to support any element of the grid will be under the same privacy guildines that Linden employees would be. Comsys is under the same obligations to protect residents privacy and data as any Linden. That will always be an absolute requirement. |

I have an idea that this is tied into the server space that LL has contracted out here in Culpepper, VA at NAP. Virginia is also now listed as one of the states that LL has presence and you are allowed to work as a Mole from this state.
EDIT: Read whole blog post and this would be much more then just the local server cluster. Guess it is going to be all of the server clusters. Although I have some slight misgivings about security, I am a proponent on farming work out to the experts in the field. The greater hourly cost is still usually cheaper then the total company cost of wages plus benefits for full time employees, with more flexibility in regards to staffing. _____________________

Maybe this is why the pricks aren't answering my support tickets.

I'd like to read the blog but I'm not allowed to. I must have typoed the password when logging into it, and you only get once chance - after that, you're out. What sort of stupid system is that?

That will always be an absolute requirement. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/11/21/obama.cell.breach/index.html The more hands in the batter, the more likely you're gonna get cookie dough on the floor. Plus: part of the concept of privacy is fewer people knowing and having access, not more. I don't care if the entire world is under and NDA, if the entire world has access, NDA or not, what privacy is there? |

Is long as it improves grid stability, I don't care whether the technicians are wearing Linden Lab nametags or Comsys nametages.
