10 to complain about how much electricity and damage that has been done
because of the light bulb industry.
6 to debate whether or not global warming was caused by the light bulb
1 who doesn't believe in light bulbs and only uses his computer monitor
and high end illuminated keyboard in basement of his computer room during
night hours.
7 who prefer using light bulbs in very kinky ways and how everyone else should
join them.
1 who is willing to pee for me, ah thanks that sweet just don't pee on the light
bulb ok? I don't want to be responsible for anyone getting hurt while peeing on a light bulb.

I think most of time the moderators are to busy to lock any thread these days.
If it happens it is rare event.

Simply this - they gave us a place to play. But you know, go ahead....trash it up, that's fine. Provoke them to the point where we're under restrictive moderation once again. It's my belief they're allowing us to police ourselves, but if that's abused, they'll step in.

But since threads like this seem to be important to some people...go for it. There are other forums on other sites to go to when they shut this one down.

Not double standards, just very low standards. Moderation is a joke here as evidenced by the fact that this thread is still open as is the never-ending one and dozens of other inappropriate threads in the recent history.

If you are looking for a well moderated forum experience then I suggest you just bugger off until the outsourcing has taken place. Then we'll see what happens.

OK low standards and double standards as has been witnessed by some recently and looking for a well moderated forum experience well these forums have never been that in all the time i have been here lol but the one thing that they are is generally friendly. As far as when the out sourcing im sure the forums will change dramatically and probably not for the better for all and as far as the forums I love em

Moderation what little I saw here in last two years is inconsisent at best except
when Strife was here.
I got when I was first here locked for asking/talking about prim jello
but at same time there was pages and pages of opinion discussions
and people being hostile to each other about whatever they were pissed off
about with LL at the moment or verbally attacks by some moderator I never
seen since.
It doesn't make sense.
Last time two times I reported forum post it was ignored, it only seems
to be paid attention possibly if you're buddies with a moderator or when
they seem to want too.
There is numerous post that are never locked that should be.
There are numerous Residents who would be willing to be moderators
who would be fair and do so for free but they are unwilling to allow this.

But i agree it does seem if your a buddy with a MOD here or your face fits then threads will get locked while others continue unabated. Ive even seen the threads praise the MOD for locking a thread usually by the same people that are the most vocal lol Personally I cannot wait until the forums are outsourced and some semblance of order will no doubt follow after the normal forum rabble have worn themselves out whining about it, this is one move i think is right that LL have made
