Erm no, your online status will still be visible in groups that both people are members of, which is a pain if the 'victim' is a member of open enrollment groups. Oh shoot, you're right. It seems this should work but it's part of a bigger SL bug. At least I think the setting will hide your status from the group list if the person is NOT a member of the same group. |

I have a friend who is being stalked in SL. If your friend feels threatened, then a call to the local police is in order. Also, Abuse Reports are needed, more than one. Better yet would be to get others to observe the stalking directly, and then report it. It can be hard for the Lindens, since filing an AR against a person is one of the ways of harrassing them. Griefers can write some pretty good abuse reports... |

Now for the really paranoid......... if it's an open enrollment group the stalker could just join it and see anyway. _____________________
