From: Eclectic Wingtips I have decided to have a bit of a change, which means i want to be Brunette (think chocolate brown). But allmy favoutie hair store in SL, well their textures from brown hair are lifeless. Thay have no shine, no feeling of naturalness to them texture wise. I used to wear black hair so it didnt matter...
If you want an example of the kinid of textures im looking at TP to abyss. Theyhave the colour (Dark Ash) and quality of the textures im looking for. However their collection is small and I have the hair i like fromtheir already...
Any ideas folks? When this thread first began, I started making a list of the names mentioned. Since then I've been able to visit every place mentioned except for: HCT; A&G; Truth or Novocaine. They don't come up in Search for me. Can anyone clarify their names, or drop me a LM inworld? Thanks. (Sirena, my first hair discovery in SL, is still my favorite, although I did like Damselfly and Laqroki, after seeing them mentioned in this thread.) |

I'm not inworld at the moment, but I think they spell it 'novacaine' instead of 'novocaine' I remember it threw me for a while when I first went looking for them. Ashe ETA: oops...I was wrong, had it backwards. LM is novocaine 106.105.24 Truth hair is truth island 152.144.24 Can't help with the rest, sorry

My normal hair I wear comes from Pazazz. It's worth a shot LOL
They have some nice styles and I like her textures.

I swear by 0 style (zero style), the creator is Rei Gully. Lately I've been nuts for my Southfork black from Laqroki. Wow.

for brunette i would try Sirena hair.. her flexi is higher up on the scalp and gives a more natural flow even with the shorter styles. her blacks and browns are very nice..you get 4 shades per color.. like with black you will get the black pearl which has a blueish tint to it..not an over taking blue but gives it a sexy slight tint. black and gray then black and then the midnight black which is the color i have on in my signature.in fact that is one of her styles.. she also has the drop down menu for turning off and on a face light and doing some light editing to the hair i believe also.. i don't really use anyone else right now so i am kind of limited on other places myself.. i just love the higher flexi because i don't get the spikes from the non flexi pieces. hope this helps |

if your existing hair is mod, you dont really need to get a new hair.
i have worn the same girl6 hair for years. it is mod, so i have re textured it in a variety of 'browns' using textures both from the web and that i have created in photoshop.
eta: avoid sculpted hair! all you ppl wearing those are forgetting that it takes a while for your sculpts to rez, usually longer than it takes for you to walk past everyone in the room. its not a pretty sight hey
