 History repeats itself.

Trout, if you get a sailboat, I'll go for a ride with you. But I'm bringing my parachute. No, I mean my scuba gear. Maybe both, just to be on the safe side. :D

Hah! Lindal. If I get one, you're right at the top of my list of people to take out on it. First, the sailboat sinks, then we raise it and set it on fire, then we crash it into the rocks, blow it up and take the scraps and shoot them into outer space. Then we go get the scraps, feed them to livestock, kill the livestock and grind it into hamburger, then we serve the hamburgers at the LL annual summer picnic. If we're lucky, both of us survive.

Once more, before I get too nervous, the "Trout" part of my name refers to my unhealthy obsession with chasing them while waving around a flyrod and little bits of fur and feather tied to a sharp hook. It has nothing to do with any desire I might have to actually be one.

Eh? I think the OP wanted to find clothes that were suitable for *sailing* :)
But then, this is SL, and we are allowed to be outrageous, so maybe I can restrain myself from throwing dead fish at people who wear that sort of thing on a boat.

Hey, everybody! Elora's gonna be deck candy! :D

Aside from a bathing suit, the best clothing I've found for SL sailing is scuba gear...because sooner or later, a sim crossing's likely to put you on the ocean floor.

Sailing's fun...but about as risky as a ride with Trout.

Trout aside, still sound advice. This sailor has been parted from her sailboat on more than one occassion.

On the other hand, I usually wear a bikini.

not sure if you are still looking.
I looked through what I have that I have not put up for sale yet and this outfit jumped out at me. Let me know if you are interested (top shorts and shoes)

Thanks everyone, I bought the Karamia dress, the Starboard one. It lovely and we went sailing today.

It was a lot fun, but quite a hassle getting into the boat! Must have taken me about 10 tries, flying in. Only luck finally helped. I highly recommend this for those contemplating it, lots of fun, but you do have to know how to handle the boat, not for novices at all.

I hope you weren't wearing high heels when you tried to do this. :)

No, of course not! I was barefoot, like Jannae mentioned! I searched for sneakers in my inventory, had none, thought about buying some but realized I'd never wear them again so barefoot it was!

I left my hair on! It looked wonderful blowing in the wind and didn't get in my eyes once! And my friend was quite smitten with the whole effect too :-)

 Well... maybe not ALL attachments.

AO's and such are the worst offenders. I keep my hair on

I usually wear cutoffs and flipflops when sailing.

I have also worn non-prim sneakers. If you ever picked up a bunch of freebies, these were one of the few things worth keeping. My favs are a gray little pair called, i think, Chucks Sneakers. (Prim sneakers are on my list of things to purge from inventory - they are always SO huge and bright).

I have searched for a nice pair of sperry topsiders, but never found. Does anyone know if there are any around?
