what can I do against griefers using Myti tool?

Is there a way to protect myself against people who attack me with Mysti tool?
I disabled creating objects, and scripts on my land but it still seems to work.
(I tried it with a friend who was still able to "attack" me in my skybox)

What could I do if a griefer wants to attack me? Is there a way to protect myself?

Hmm, sit down doesn't save you from one combat system I have tested, you can still be caged and orbited.

It's worked every time someone tried to orbit me; I just tp away for caging. A lot of griefers are hoping you'll retaliate so they can AR you, adding insult to injury, so it's probably not a good idea to do anything else.

If this is actually happening to the OP, then s/he should be ARing it. If it's hypothetical, I'd suggest not fretting about what *might* happen.

Sit on a pose ball or get your a shield such as ProTec or ChatSpy has a shield that you are able to be non-phys.

Mystitool is only 400L. Get one and use the anti-push and other features.

Uh, no. If you're orbiting and caging people against their will, you're griefing them, regardless of whose land you're on. If you don't want them there, eject and ban, don't sink to their level.

MystiTool has an invisible nonphysical "vehicle" that you can rez and sit on. You will still be animated as if standing, but it pretty much makes you impervious.

there are some cages that block tp's. it basically "follows" the av and recages them

So, he did take steps, so if they grief me on my own land or is standing in the next parcel griefing, he will get a taste of his own medicine.

Banning and ejecting are methods that are just as or more effective than orbiting and caging, plus they are *legal* to use on your own land.

Even when defending your own land, caging and orbiting can get you suspended from SL.

Kinda like cutting off your nose to spite your face....

No scripts doesn't do anything if you live in a skybox, that setting only works near the ground.

I don't know, Eject and Ban sounds like griefing to me
It's good to hear orbit & cagings bad, but killing them is probably ok
Well if they are dumb enough to come on my land and be an idiot, I'll do what ever I feel like at the time, if I waste their time by forcing them to logout, great.
Ideally I'd rather freeze them for 30minutes so they can't annoy anyone else and discuss with them their attitude.
Eject & Ban just gives the problem to someone else.
Please vote for extending the freeze command duration to 5minutes, 20 seconds during lag isn't enough time to freeze one let alone 2 offenders spawning replicating cubes and file an AR or find a Linden to ban him.

Eject and banning from your own land is perfectly acceptable and not griefing. People are entitled to prevent others from entering their property if that's what they wish to do, providing they do not lower their standards and resort to griefing methods, which ejecting is not.

Mystitool has a Non-Physical Vehicle (shield) included. It creates an invisible "bubble" around the person. Anytime I encounter a situation that looks like griefing "may" occur, I simply rez my bubble, step into it and...safe.

There is lot of people who use ban lines on everyone except there friends and people can & do cross the ban lines at least on mainland not sure about if it's same on the Islands.

Why do you keep getting attacked?

Almost all of the restrictions - "No Script", "No Push", AND "No Build", can be worked around. For "No Script" there is a good reason for this: vehicles - vehicles require their scripts to be working all the time in order to move. For the others, I'm not sure there's such a good reason.

Personally, I'd like to see a clear statement that manufacturing an object which can build in a no-build area, push in a no-push area, etc, is an ARable offense by the creator, and can result in the object being asset deleted. I know that many people make weapons saying that "this can be used for griefing but please don't", but many of those can be used consensually in some situations, so that's ok. On the other hand if the landowner has set land to no-push then performing a push on it by definition can't be consensual.
