Here we are again, it's the weekend, no Linden amount showing up, tp's not working, search not working. What in the Hell?

They give the monkeys and hamsters the weekend off too, and turn out the lights when they leave at 5pm PDT on Friday. After all, the Tao must be obeyed above all else.

My account on the website says I have money but when I go in-world it says loading....and I can't buy anything. Sorry merchants, I can't give you my lindens today...and I am logging off.

Maybe they are trying to send their customers a message.

I'm not quite sure what the message is, though.

i just tried to buy a bunch of furniture... of course it failed.
now im wondering if the purchase will happen automatically at some future date, or if i dare try again tonight.

I can't get the map to work properly - refuses to load any locations.

Also had a problem over the last few days with teleports failing pretty much 60% of the time. Its a shame because when I first joined the earlier viewer worked fairly consistently - in a positive rather than negative way.

Still wish they'd remember us Mac users - the client is awfully buggy...

I was supposed to have gotten some money - the script said I got it, and I got the blue upper-right-hand-corner notice that I got the money, but it never showed up in my transactions or my account.

I agree, and what was the name of that game coming soon from Australia, Outback? Looking more interesting with every crash.

Sorry Gabby, I didn't mean to dismiss the venting, which is certainly justified.

I was just commenting on the "end is near" prediction, which tends to pop up at the first sign of grid trouble (or policy changes, but that's another story). People have been making these predictions for years now, which is why it is so hard to take them seriously.

ETA: I think Yummy's got the right idea. I don't see an end to SL until something better comes along. But when that happens, I'm jumping ship with the rest of the rats!

and this is what will be the key to sl's demise. once that competitor comes along there will be a huge number of people that are so put off by ll and their sl experience they will ditch sl without a second thought. ll is making that decision very easy for a lot of us.

The good news is, the disruption’s been thoroughly diagnosed, and is now being worked on by the Ops Team. The other news is, this will apparently take several hours to repair.

No no no, the GOOD news was it was diagnosed...the OTHER News was it would take several hours. I dont WANT to know what the BAD news, that they failed to include, really is.

You know if we all play the lottery and win millions, we can all get together and make our own SL..hmm but we'd have to change the name , geez just think of the possibilities..sigh

actuly, you do not need to win millions to do that, most of the people working at linden labs has a degree in computer technology (like DeVry for instance)

yea, but millions would insure we have the bestest of the bestest equipment and the nerdiest nerds to build it..if you build it..THEY WILL COME! muwahahah
