Max number of alts allowable for premium account?

OK I have a question.
I have created one alt with the same email address, when I tryed to create another 2 days later, it told me I could not use my email address:(

So how do you have up to 5 avi's per email?
What am I doing wrong?

Is there a way to make an avi using your existing account without going through the whole process of making a new account?

i just tried to sign one up on my email - to test the system, and i was also denied. so it must have a limit of 1-2 per email but they aren't saying so.

Just create a google mail account for each alt. Makes life simpler, esp if you send IMs to email.

Anyone tried then changing the account details back too another email, with other accounts attached?
