After 30 Minutes Of Idlenes Linden Automatically Logs You Off

I Know There Are 3 Keys Which Put Extra Menus On The Screen

And In Them You Can Disable The Idle

But I Have Forgotten Which 3 Keys

And Once In There I Have No Idea What To Click

Can Someone, Please , Help Me.

Client > Character > Character Tests > Go Away/afk When Idle

Although...having this disabled doesnt turn off the 30 minute boot. Just the AFK by your name when you go idle.

Actually I think that was fixed and it does stop the you from being autologged off after 30 minutes. Pretty sure I have been afk for more than 30 minutes several times since a few versions of the viewer ago.

No, you don't get booted after 30 minutes of afk. Not to worry. I HAVE come back to the screen before to find I've crashed - which probably would have happened anyway.

Its hit n miss with that thing, I have also stayed on for a long time after walking away from my machine....but I have also been booted for being idle (noting the message I got) as well so, ya never know with SL. So its not you 'never' but sometimes some people dont....

Yeah, I've been booted off when I wasn't supposed to be too. I got a freebie "anti-idle" HUD as a backup, just in case.

i`m usually online all day long while working in other apps and only get kicked off with the usuall hickup or server crash *goes to check sl...* without a problem

You certainly get booted after 30 minutes if you're minimized, even with the anti-afk test unchecked.

Unless you use the Nicholaz client, in which case if you turn off afk, then YOU get to decide when you want to logoff.

Handy for when your script debugging session gets stretched out by a bunch of IMs or a phone call.

I just log if I think I'm going to be away from my computer that long.

30 minutes is quite a long time really to be away for a phone call or even fixing dinner. Of course professional campers will disagree with me.

The few times I've been logged off for idlle has been when I got distracted in RL and actually forgot I was on SL...........in those cases it's a simple enough process of logging back on. I don't see a reason to disable the autologging..........maybe taking the "AFK" or "Away" note above your head is good but freeing up a sim or resources because someone went to the store or out on a date or gone to bed is a good thing as far as I can see.
