I'm pretty well here until the turn off the light or raise tier beyond a certain point.

No drama around death for me; too much experience with death in RL for it to be material for SL creativity...yet.

My SL assets are in my will though and I hope someone will take Dnali and Serenade Park into the future if one exists.

On the 29th of March, 2008, Geyl Fapp passed away at 12:44AM (GMT+1). She was surrounded by her family and friends, and left a legacy for those she was close to in Second Life®.

Funny - necroposting a thread about death.

The coolest thing about SL is that Trout never has to grow old and die. He can live as long as he wants. I, on the other hand, have no choice in the matter. I have every expectancy in a long life. I'm healthy, reasonably careful, and have very few vices that have the potential to kill me. Inevitably, I will die anyway.

I'd like to think that after I do, Trout will be running around SL with all of his buddies, whooping it up and having a grand old time without me. I know it's silly to think that; he's not real. He won't do anything once I'm gone any more than my bike will take long rides on the trail or my fishing rods will hit the lake on their own. Still, it's a nice thought. At least SOMEbody ought to get to live happily ever after once I croak. (Somebody other than all the people who will be glad when I croak - screw them! I hope they croak right before I do!)

I had a tenant that got into a very deep relationship with his 'partner'. It was to the point she was expecting him to meet her RL and they would get married in RL. So from what I could tell he got cold feet, created an alt and told her he had died in a motorcycle accident. I guess that was simpler than telling her he didn't want to get married to her. :\

DOH! I didn't notice it was a dead thread LOL.

I figure that those who pretend to 'die' in SL will have bad Karma and if they don't die for real that year, they'll get an extreme case of the runs - while on public transportation.
