Parcel next to Hangout: Community service ideas?

How about a dog park..somewhere that I can go to walk my dog and not worry about the virtual poop?

Ok. I am warning everyone now that this joke is going to be in poor taste. I am an animal lover (Hey! Not that way) and have a rl cat. So please, take it for the joke it is.

What ever happened to him?

He's getting out of prison in June or July of this year. Apparently since he got caught smoking pot before his trial, his lawyer used this to get him into a drug rehab thing in prison. His reward? A cut in his jail time. Don't you just love the justice system?

For now, I've just rezzed one of those ginormous Botanical trees in the middle of the parcel. Not sure what it takes to make it a dog park, though. It allows rezzing, but auto-return is just 1 minute, so that's probably not ideal.

More progress on the fishing front. I created an accounting alt, ForumsCartel Ghost, and gave her enough L$s to get a fishing server for the Hangout dock. To make sure it would work for our own boats, she pulled the scripts out and stuck them in her own prim, then logged out. After an hour or so, Qie could still fish there, so I'm pretty sure this will work embedded in vessels far out on the high seas of Corra.

Ms Ghost also placed a vendor of fishing stuff on the dock, as unobtrusively as she could (more or less flat on the dock--any better ideas?). Qie bought a fishing rod from it and ForumsCartel got 20% of the take, so as funds accumulate she'll give it to one of the group Owners for Hangout events or other Cartel projects.

So, my to-do list includes ForumsCartel acquiring a copy/mod boat, stuffing the server scripts inside, and scripting something to rez the boats from the dock.

And still seeking more ideas for that parcel next door.
