So many of you people do nothing but bitch about the horrible way LL is running their business, all the bad design, the lag, the banning, the engine, the support...everything.

Yet you still play. Why?

If you don't like it so much, why are you here? And don't get me wrong, there is a difference between bringing up important matters, and discussing them in an adult fashion...even venting from time to time is OK...but so many of you massively flame LL all the time, yet you still are an active citizen. No one is twisting your arm to play.

Can't you see that if you're still playing, there must be some good in SL? Enough good to keep you coming back time and time again, even though you bitch all the time. That's a pretty strong product if you ask me.

Agreed. In fact, I will go farther: SL is a UNIQUE product. Nobody else offers what SL does.

But, Michael, that's why people are so passionate about this unique, this special product and are so vocal when they see it being messed up...whether it's by grid instability, or poor business management on LL's part, or lack of insight into what it is that gives SL its special appeal.

And as others have said, SL will have plenty of residents...until someone else comes along with an alternative that doesn't have the problems we gripe about in SL.

most of the people that bitch are the ones that don't even pay to play, so your complaining about something that you get to play for free? and the ones that pay for it, continue to pay for it no matter how crappy they say it gets, its just a matter of something to bitch about, cause they got tired of bitching about the moron we have for a president.

I'm 1/2 excited about age verification - hoping that it'll quiet some of the more chronic whiners here as they're forced back to the teen grid.

Saying that SL has problems is fine. Saying that you don't agree with LL is fine. Saying that they're idiots, they don't care, they hate us, etc, etc, etc isn't being passionate about SL, it's being childish.

They don't care about age so don't be fooled. As long as they pull people in just to show the corporate world sl has a big population it's all that matters to them, we all know this.

btw I work on the net computers have been the only field I have ever worked in and all I need to take someones ID in there name and SS# or DL# its VERY easy to do but most net noobs have no clue lol.

the company doing the verifcation has a proven track record of selling the info it gets and once your info is in their data base how the hell will you know what they are doing with it..you simply cant...
