"He is going to start on May 15th."

You'd have thought there might have been an introductory blog entry or notice of a town hall or something by now.

But... silence.

Or have I just missed something? I'd have thought the boards would have been buzzing with it. Or did everyone forget?

In fact, since it was announced on 22nd April in that blog post above,

"We will schedule a series of inworld meetings in the coming weeks where folks can get a chance to meet and talk to him and me together."

I don't recall any of those happening either, and apart from someone finding him dressed in noob clothes AFK somewhere, I don't recall any sightings in-world either?

I sent him a tp to Midgaard... I think he is a slave girl right now.

I dunno, would you really want to meet with a guy who can only say "I have no fecking idea; I just got here"?

I just figure he's barely had time to unpack his boxes, trying to remember the names of the department heads he's just met, has gotten lost a few times in a new city, and is speed reading through a ton of information.

The man hasn't even been there long enough to know where everyone's offices are yet in the building. And I'm sure he's been made aware of how residents are eager to meet him as soon as possible.

I would have expected them to warn him off from interacting with residents considering how vicious some can get .

Naw, he tried purchasing some Lindens and got told he used up his trading limit for the month. So now he is saving up for a decent skin before he presents himself.

He doesn't really give a t*ss about you.

It would be like expecting the CEO of McDonalds to come and say hello to you individually just because you buy a Big Mac now and again.

Right now he's looking at the business and wondering how he can milk the cash cows even more, while dropping the dogs as quickly as possible.

He better not drop me. I'll bite his ankles and pee on his wounds, CEO or not!

Doesn't the ammonia in pee act as a disinfectant?

Better (but less satisfying) to bite him and let the germs resident in your fetid mouth do their worst.

He probably took one tour around the building and then went into the executive washrooms for a good cry. Either that or he had a nervous breakdown and needs a nice 'I wuv ME' jacket.

Seriously, I'd rather know what the heck I'm talking about before I throw myself to the wolves. I can't imagine he'd be any different

a) hasn't yet received the ceremonial codpiece or
b) is having difficulty figuring out how to wear it...

Which is like saying the Inquisistion was eager to meet you.

I'm sure Mr CEO is as worried about the SL Citizen's Inquisitionary techniques as he would be about Monty Python's Spanish Inquisition;

From past experiences of starting a new job, and all the turmoil it brings, I'll cut the guy some slack.

I figure at least a month.

Being a CEO has got to be a headache. After all, the company is in YOUR hands.

.... often the anticipation of comfort is far worse than the actuality.

I say, show him pics of comfortable furniture...use PS to manufacture images showing him resting comfortably..mess with his mind.

That'll get answers out of him.

Hopefully head down querying staff or undercover exploring SL how it works before he blurts out any "expert" decisions.

it was part of the terms and agreement for him to wear a plywood box on his head in the offices for one day, so he customize himself with how it is for newbies, he hasn't figured out how to remove it yet?

And in the tradition of all newbies, he walked around the office asking everyone he saw if they wanted sex.

He's wearing his alt. Maybe making sexies with the newbies.

…so his first blog will be about prim babies and how cute they are?

Now you mention it, I've heard of a new guy. He boasts 100% up time, and promises excellent LL support in retrun for sexual favours.

Oh and likes to be called Mr Big at the crucial moment.

Or maybe its just way too big for him.

I believe he said he's bigger than its looks on the screen.
