From: Hypatia Callisto Daz is not a large company. Comparing them to Coke is wielding a really large brush. They're a small company, privately owned. Big brutish corporation they're not. Daz has a lot of interest in the 3d content market, given that is their main business. That is certainly not the business of a Coke or an American Apparel. So I don't worry about Daz "getting it". I know several personally who work for them, and they seem to "get it" very well.  I'll with-hold further comments. I'm not here to have an argument with you. Mari

I have been a member of the Daz Platinum club since it started and have been buying from Daz for a good while before that.
There are a few texture sellers out there who better watch out now, heh, as I could name at least three who are selling Daz textures against their copyright terms.

From: Tod69 Talamasca Maya & 3D Studio MAX DO have offices in SL! I found them by accident. Look on the map for the Autodesk Sim. There's some neat stuff there, seems more for AutoCAD than anything. But Max & Maya have their own lil' section too. Heh, there's so much stuff on in the world, so much stuff on the internet... so much stuff going on just in Second Life just trying to skim the news could take up your whole life. This - 3D graphics software - seems like a lot more logical product category to try to market in SL than, say, automobiles.
