I didn't manage to find this in a search and the people that have been around awhile in my friend list are offline. I was playing a game of chess and 47 people just walked onto the sim I was in. It spooked me and threw me off my game.
Anyone have any idea what they were up to? From 2 - 49 people quickly, is so strange.

If there is an xploder in the place, with good amount of money in it, the place can get filled up pretty fast. Especially so if there are lots of bots after it too.

Surely the best way to find out why suddenly the sim would fill up would have been to look and watch?
Could have been someone logging in their traffic bots, an event starting, a party ... without being there everyone can only think up reasons. _____________________

Of course.. there could have been a planned event, such as a gladiator fight, given the theme. Even says tournaments right on their ad in search. Amazing.. there's only one Roman Empire in the search places feature. And if they were RPers, then they might have TP'd to the landing point and WALKED (Who ever heard of a flying Roman Imperial that didn't involve a catapult?) to their meeting point. Bah, enough about logic! _____________________

The roman empire is next door to the spartian empire and close to persia and the athenian empire
All those sims are DCS sims where they have wars and raids with each other, and many gladiator style contests and hoplite training so it could have been any of those things In the Spartan Empire group its common for a call to go out about an invasion taking place, come and help defend Sparta etc. All good fun |

Having done roleplay myself I know how a sim can suddenly be invaded in seconds. Seems strange that the OP was in a roleplay environment without being aware of the combat element lol. _____________________

sounds like fun to me. i'd like to have a chicken run invasion somewhere. not really attacking, just running around randomly and squawking. if there was an animation to peck someone's eye, that's be a plus, however.
