This is a joke. The people who organised this event should be fired, not just because of the fact you can't get in but the fiasco surrounding the kid avie's etc.

Oh well, I didn't want to go anyway.

mm, I got some notice about it being a first come first served starting at 0945, but it seems to just be accessible to the 'speshul' invitees afterall.

Yep. Saw that on the wiki..

I've tried the streams they blogged about but there's nothing there.. Anybody have any luck with them?

I handed in and published my event schedule several days ago. I have no idea what or when my neighbors will be having their presentations. On the sim I am exhibiting on there is a Jazz Club with a live DJ, a Native American performance area, a author conducting book signings and a Pirate ship - all of which have events planned. I forsee a overlap of events and overcrowding because of a lack of communication. All of which could have been avoided with a little coordination.

...you also have Robin Sojourner's exhibit in that space. She's intending to have a talk or two there was well.

Looking at the green dots on the Map, there's a gathering of the anointed.

The idea of having speechifying to the masses in SL doen't really work.
They could have opened the surrounding sims to lag, and broadcast the event to them....
but.. whatever :)
We expected something different?

Right now, going clockwise through the 4 stage sims from Second Life Birthday sim , I see 16,3,4,13
It's been that pattern for at least the last 1/2 hour

There's one lonely dot down near the SW corner of Second Life Birthday sim - fixing something no doubt. Maybe something needing Parental Guidance or a 'fer fecks sake stop wittering' from on high.

-- starting to fill now, but still the anointed

I just got into one of the sims - and it is just a mismash of odd things.

Look like the mainland, minus the revolving adsigns, heh

can't get into the 'speech' section, of course

I am not worthy :(

I've known vampire kids, so I know I'd be okay. 'side, the other day some creepy avvie -- all green skinned with an eyeball hanging out of a socket, an named after a RL serial killer -- told me an my sister that we were scary. So I'm positive I can freak people out right back. ;-)

Good. :) And you don't remember, but I was TP'd to meet you and your sis by my bro, Laurynce once. BTW, if you see him let him know I miss him and he should come here and post sometimes. :)

Speach

They did not say much, but I can understand perhaps why, everything they say stirs up extreme controversy.
All in all it was good I thought.

Heh.. so it is over already?

Ok then, on to the festivities as they are.

And Mari, I am sad to hear that he is all but left. He is a good person and one of my favorite people.

Dwell and Move (for two) are full of replicating spinning shouting cubes, courtesy of a Kamina Johnston apparently.

Bloody RL kids!!!

Is there any kind of guide somewhere as to what's on in each Sim? Whole place is too darn big to see everything - it would be nice to know what to find where..
