Would it be the right time of year for mincemeat pie?

You know, out of curiousity I've visted this Forum Cartel Hangout spot. It was empty. Nice looking though

mmmmmmmmmmmm....
and pumpkin! I usually have pumpkin pie instead of cake on my birthday.

Oh yeah, remminder to the Cartel... party at my place tomorrow night 6pm-? CST
I forget what that is in SL time.

(note: I do not run business off the land, have no items for sale, and could care less what my traffic score is)

Sometimes it is dead, but other times very crowded. You have to just keep trying your luck. But, please do!

BECAUSE, amazing as it is, the Cartel is not anything official.

And this is Resident's Answers.

Dancien if you are unlucky I will be there in ... well, not very much. Shades needed more than shields.

The Hangout is like many clubs. People assume many of the clubs in SL are always empty and make no money, which is not always true. During events you'll find the Hangout very busy but it may be deserted at other times.

I find if I go and chill for a bit there while doing other things, someone will usually come along.

Kick-ass!!

I wish I could go to the hangout *sniff* but I can't launch client software to get into SL at all for some reason.

It's enough to make a person want to play World of Warcraft.

I've been a few times now and there's been a few people there. Very nice and no need for shields.
I never go when it's empty, because I tend to get lost and need TPs to get me back :o

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Is that the vegetarian variety, or the good stuff with meat in it?

Surely you're not old enough to remember that Chas? No one has used meat in a mince pie since before the war! Except me and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.

Oddly enough, we had mincemeat pie every Tuesday when I was a kid and it was full of .... minced meat (and peas for some reason). This was a relief after the lamb cobblers with scone-like thingies we had on Monday.

I always found Christmas mince pies very disappointing. And the Turkey. And the bloody sprouts. And the carrot and bloody turnip. I still quite like mushy peas though.
