Man I larfed so much... only came across this thread and got all the clips together (a bit like watching Lord of the Rings back to back....) Been posting in the VAT threads in a vain attempt to bring some rationality to the debate... ah well.... another good idea wasted lol

All day I was trying to get that to work, I'm so glad I tried one last time. Hilarious! I got really excited because I thought it was Patrick Stewart at first on screen, but couldn't figure out why on earth he'd be in a Bollywood movie lol. Can't wait to see the sequel(s). Keep them rolling!

Oh, you will, you will. You come from the South San Joaquin Valley, too? I recall that back in Visalia, we said peh-kan, but it's been a while since I moved away, so my memory might be a little weak. I've tried to block out growing up in a town where, when we wanted to have a good time, we had to go to Fresno.

Sometimes we went to Bakersfield. They allowed dancing in Fresno. Visalia was like that town in Footloose, only people weren't as friendly and everything was brown instead of green. Oh, and there were rattlesnakes and it's 110 degrees all summer and the air quality is barely survivable. Other than that, it was fine. Especially if you like to grow nuts and citrus.

I go back now to visit family and I really wonder how I ever survived. Well, in all fairness, we were very close to the the Sierras and the Sequoia and Kings Canyon Nat'l Parks are probably a couple of the most incredible places on earth. Yosemite is close by as well. I love the Cascades and Olympics where I live now, but I truly miss the Sierras.
