yeah i got several alts for similar throw away purposes. How does one actually delete an avatar anyways?
I have some good ones spread around the 4 email accounts coming outta this house. So my next question hasto be, how do i know which of the remaining avatars are on which account? doh dog |

Nuts. I wanted "Cinnamon Streusel", but I couldn't get Streusel to come up in the surname list. The advice given by Void Singer on the previous page could help you: "if you don't get the name you want in the drop down, just hit page refresh and re-enter the first name until you do.. or get bored." Indeed this worked for me, as I got the surname I wanted on the third try. |

haha is Ben already taken? I bet it went within seconds of the new names being posted. Anyways....I'd forgotten what a pain it is to switch names on the Forums...all that cache clearing. True, it takes only a few seconds, but I bet I'll be sorry later when I try to get on some of my usual sites... It's always interesting to me to see how they're handling the Orientation experience. In this case I got booted from Orientation Island (if that's what it was--I didn't have time to look at the name) almost immediately, and sent to one of the Korea sims. There must have been a good 120 people or more, congregated there at the four-points area. They've improved the Koreas since I was last there---at least there are now some stations dispensing notecards on Changing Appearance and Flying and using Alt to look around (though for some reason I couldn't get that prize, unless the prize was the notecard itself...!!) And they've gotten rid of the Tours. No disrespect meant to those who volunteered to give the Tours, but....well, long story. Newbies would never know that Help Island Public or Orientation Island Public exist (unless someone tells them in Chat)---no signs indicate them. Understandable, I suppose, as my Map search seems to show that there's only ONE O.I. and two H.I's. They'd be overwhelmed if all those newbies tried to teleport to them. (Didn't there used to be more OI Publics and HI Publics?) Oh, and: of course a Vampire asked to bite me. It wouldn't be the First Minutes in SL Experience without a Vampire asking to bite you! |

Im hoping they issue Hugginkiss or Coholic next so I can be Amanda or Al. |
