Didn't even realize it until I saw the pictures later on. I looked regal, spectacular, stunning and then I looked downward.  Don't know if anybody noticed as the party was going on, and I wasn't there all that long but those pictures live forever on Flickr  LOL, that sounds like one of my usual escapades. Anyway I certainly do have that problem, although I'm a little bigger then average size. Well what can I say, that's what HE wanted. Anyway. I usually use this lingerie bra top I have for that problem. But this post has given me new things to try. Good post! |

Well I must say ... all of these ideas have worked!! The flesh colored pasties work with some of the outfits... the nipple cover undergarments that people have dropped me inworld have worked with others. And after being so attached to my skin for 2 years, I branched out and got some new ones last night .... (that are quite fabulous) and those worked with other outfits!! lol It's quite interesting with the skin thing... I would have never thought that was the problem... so thank you to those of you who sent that suggestion!! Once SL settled down and I was able to get in and play around and see what worked with what... I was quite pleased. Now I just need to make notecards for what solution works with each outfit so I don't go through the madness again, down the road. lol Anyway... thank you all again and keep any other ideas coming. Oh... and feel free to share the humiliating stories you have been... we all enjoy the laughs!  LL |

It has only happened once.
It is rather annoying, but probably the designer just didn't know any better.
I renamed the folder warning myself in case I later forgot and put it on while away from 'home'. Lol Which thankfully is where I was when I changed into the gown. It was a historical gown but the photo didn't let on what the neckline was really like. Maybe the designer only tried it on their own smaller-shaped av.
One can find a camisole or corset to go over or under the top but with some that goes against the style of it. Maybe some sort of flesh colored tank or camisole as you suggested.

Hi,
I have a tall AV and often have problems with "fit". I have had some luck using EDIT...(even on no-mod items) and just adjusting WHERE the item is placed. Many skirts and tops and even shoes don't quite end up in the right place on me. Give it a try (backup first!) but you can often relocate the top or skirt to look better.

Mainly I wear a Tee-shirt and jeans. It solves all probs. When I am at home in sl I wear no clothes. In real I dress well but love shirts and jeans. Its my accessories that make it all worth while; shoes, bags, jewellery etc.
I wear Kristauf jeans which say "Relax its just pus*y" on teh thigh. I wear a Banksy Tee-shirt or an Ozzie aboriginal designer.
Dont worry too much about showing the nipples.

More likely the skin you are wearing has the nipples positioned slightly off from the standard avatar position. The "perky" look comes to mind. You might try wearing a different skin to see if you can wear the top without showing. Some skins have absolutely huge areolae which makes them "challenging" with any top. EDIT: And I should really pay attention to posts in the middle of the thread that already said some of the same things I just did.

Defleur has a set of lacy high-neck undershirts called Modesty something, with optional prim collars - they are pretty and work very nicely with lowcut stuff, but of course do change the look of the outfit.
