I count acts of stupidity as being deliberate - like having an unplanned pregnancy when there are millions of different types of contraception available. Accidents are what happen when you try your best but something is beyond your abilities to do successfully.

Regardless of what is expected, the person who drops the money has no way to compel me to give the money back, so by doing so I am being an extra swell guy.

I might claim a 10% admin fee, however.

I must disagree.

If I give you a gift, and while I'm wrapping it, one of my diamond earrings falls in the gift bag, obviously it wasn't meant for you. There was only one earring, and no packaging, in addition to the actual gift I bought for you. What kind of person would keep my earring? A thief, plain and simple. The act of stupidity would be in not returning a gift that wasn't meant for you, especially when you know it wasn't meant for you. Otherwise, you're only using the situation as an excuse to profit on someone.

Would like to know where I should post this question: I don't want to post it in the wrong location (it'd be my luck that I'm posting THIS to the wrong forum even. >takes a deep breath<.

I accidentally dragged and dropped some Linden Dollars onto the wrong person in my friends list. Now, that person who received this money accidentally, is not returning it, and is avoiding me (some friend, huh?). Where should I post this question, or at least.... what on sim earth should I do? >asks with big puppy eyes, hoping someone will have pity<

Thank you in advance, from a Fumble Fingered SL Forum Newbie ;-)

1) You don't drag and drop, you hit "Pay".

2)The lindens have enough of their own problems, they will rarely get invlolved in resident disputes unless they have a lawsuit(Brent=D).

Chances are that your "friend" will NEVER give back the money. (Just think of how many hours camping it will take your "friend" to get that money.) Sadly, many people in SL who have no payment info on file beg and will never give anything in return.

You're new? First off, learn that you don't really have any friends in sl. Aquaintances yes, friends no. And if by chance you do happen to aquire a real true friend, it's just going to be one or a very, very few.

Even people who are suppose to be family in sl like mom and pop or sis and cousin, are constantly stealing each others boyfriend or wife. Some relatives, huh?

A lot of backstabbing goes on among so called "friends" in sl.

In these forums you're see a lot of fake people talking the good talk but that's all it is, talk.

Bottom line: Don't trust anyone, period.

Damn, where are you meeting people? That hasn't been my experience among the people I consider friends at all. I wouldn't generally trust random strangers to do the right thing, but that's true in RL as well. And I say 'generally' because there are some fabulous people out there who will pretty much always do the right thing, whether they know you or not.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
