Chris, I have never met you, but I wish you all the brightest blessings. 2009 is a year of change and great promises. I know it can be hard to keep a positive outlook on things, but it is important to do so, it feeds the good energy. :)

Chris,

I apologize that I did not make the time to get my note to you to go along with the mailed package. But please know that as many others have pledged, I adore you and am very very happy to see that you've found your way back here. I sincerely hope your new meds bring you relief and that your new laptop brings you so much pleasure that you've brought to us. From your SL sister.

Love,
3Ring

I wasn't involved in this, but am glad to see you back and very impressed by all the wonderful people who did such a cool thing.

There are some really good people here, and this has been a great reminder of that.

Very true Des. All of us on these Forums are family now, in the Cartel or not. We may fight, squabble and get mad at each other, but when one of us is down, we come together. Another thread asked if these Forums would be missed. I for one will have to answer a resounding yes. I did do some PMing with some of my more frequent opponents, and we all agreed, no matter how pissed off we may make each other with our posting, who we are and being able to respect the other as a person is what matters. And that respect is very evident, even when the flames fly. Personally, I may fight and argue here, but in world I am always the perfect gentleman, except with griefers.

Hi Chris. I am fairly new here and was touched by your post. I hope I can get to know you and become a friend.

What RL family doesn't fight and argue? If you know of one... can you adopt me? My family fights all the time. We blow off steam and everything goes back to normal until the next time. But, we never lose the fact that we care about eachother.

I have found that everyone on the forums care about each and every person here. This is why I keep coming back!

I hope you get better soon Chris. I had a close friend in College with MS.... best of luck to you and you know we will all be here for ya... even if it's just for you to bitch someone out :D

I haven't been here much, actually, I haven't been here at all in quite some time now. Game doesn't do it for me anymore. But checking out a few threads I saw this one.

Unlike most here I usually am blunt about things and I hate phony greetings. Which is why I've never said I'm sorry to hear this or I'm sorry thats happen to you when people post their misfortunes. Because if I don't feel it I won't lie about it. But tonight I will admit I feel for you, Chris. Yeah, this is me.

Hope you feel better.

I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it or just to jump on the band wagon like most do.

I wouldn't either, Ricardo. But I also don't assume others are less sincere than I am...

Just because we haven't met the man does not mean we are not touched by his story. It is actually possible to care about someone one has not met. (In this case I mean SL "met.";)

You are one of the best Ricardo, a lot like me in that you always say what you think. Thank you for your wishes.

Aw Chris, you made a 36 year old woman cry over your post....I'm so glad to hear something from you again-I have known two people with MS, and I was so afraid you wouldn't answer anymore...

I respect people who wear their heart on their sleeve, even if we don't agree-besides, I have never really seen you as arrogant or a redneck- neither here nor inworld, so as an arrogant redneck, you fail! :D Loud, alright, but I'm loud too....

Good to hear from you, Chris. I wish for you continued courage (although you already display an exemplary amount), and success in your new course of treatment.

Evidently I missed a group effort to get you back to SL, of which I'm sorry. But I'm very happy to see you back, in whatever capacity, thats what's important. That the members of the Forum Cartel came together to help the person most responsible for it's existence makes me very proud to have been there at it's inception. Not bad for a clique.

Hey Harris, nice post. I've always considered you a straight shooter. You just use heavy loads.

What he said.

MS affects some friends and people I know in RL, so I am glad that you are getting good treatment and finding it a bit easier to catch up with your friends in SL again.

Best wishes.

So good to see you back with us Chris, may not know each other well but I know how much you mean to this community. This is exactly the sort of thing that made me stay in sl when i first found this new world. The willingness of people to reach out and help each other no matter who they are, where they are, what colour their skin is. It is wonderful to see that spirit is still alive in sl today
huggsss to you and yours Chris
