Ok people, I want to know who everyones Fav designers/places to shop, are out there . Shoes, Clothes etc. I have been in SL along time and seems to me, except for the peeps that have been here awhile, designing has gone downhill. I cant seem to find enough new, well detailed and designed clothes. Maybe I just Shop too much and Have too much LOL Anyway, Who are your Favs??

Not sure what type of clothes you like Nellen, but a friend of mine has a newish clothes store called DYN, I can drop a lm on you in world if you would like one. I love their stuff, its different to a lot of the other clothes I see in SL.
Other faves for me.... Dernier Cri & Desert Moon for casual stuff, Kunglers for lovely dresses & Zaara for a mix of casual, formal & ethnic in stunning bright colours _____________________

Can't go past the 30L shoes at ETD's sale right now, great hair too of course. For clothes, have you tried Aoharu or Ce Cubic Effect? I'd also recommend Bijou, Casa del Shai and MG Fashion.
Oh, and the new Paper Couture collection released last weekend is amazing! |

I don't shop a lot, but I second (or third) ETD hair sale and Zaara, which I just found.
I would add Miriel's for jewelry and eyes. _____________________

A new place I have found for some lovely dresses and gowns is Marinoco Fashions. I also love my dresses from Adored, Icing, PixelDolls, Simone, 3 Cupcakes, and Blaze. Probably a few others that are not coming to mind right now.

stiletto moody is more than a little over priced LOL
I could not believe the prices when I was there, and personally did not find the stuff all that great pretty at a glance (but I tend to zoom in and inspect closely) and stuff not lined up all that well, and for that price, I would want nothing short of perfection and no demos, WTH is up with that??? at that price I would at least want to try it on, hell even RL you get to try the shoes on first!! heh as for fav places to shop, I do not shop anymore, except the rare occasion and usually when I pop into somewhere and something catches my eye make my own stuff, easier and cheaper LOL edited to add... at the prices SM has out there, one can purchase well done sculpt maps and make their own shoes and have them just how they want them ![]() _____________________

Other people have chosen places that personally *I* might not prefer over another place, but as this is a post asking for your own choices, Ive not stated MY opinion on their choices of places to shop. Ifr you have a favourite shoe designer..state it, but please dont rubbish other peoples personal choices, it isnt what the thread is about? or am i wrong? I cant make shoes...lots of other people cant make shoes...so the option of making them is a moot point. _____________________

Earth & Sky has awesome shoes in all kind of colors- really cool clothes and the best looking furs I have yet seen. There are big names out there sure- but this one is a little less known and it's the first place I run to when I need a pair of shoes in just such this or that shade

I tend to wear my own stuff as far as clothes and hair, so I'll just comment on shoes.
Absolute favourite shoe shop is Tesla, then Shiny Things, Armidi, Lassitude & Ennui and I'm probably forgetting someone...Oh ok, I'll comment on clothes too. If I shopped for clothes more, I'd probably own everything by Icing._____________________

/me sits on her hands, so as to not seem like she's "self-promoting" a friend's stuff, an because the stores she shops at are "specialty" anyway.

I believe the OP was asking for our own opinions...and stiletto moody is one of mine...regardless wether you happen to agree or not,,, it IS MY choice and i like the shoes there... i DO happen to find them of good quality and i DO think they fit well. I cant make shoes...lots of other people cant make shoes...so the option of making them is a moot point. sorry did not mean to offend, however even you yourself said that they are not a popular choice here and over priced I thought we were still free to state an opinion, even the not so glowing sugar coated koolaid induced ones... (and since when did people follow the "topic" of a thread on these forums sheesh) _____________________

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

Stiletto Moody Stilletto Moody ![]() , I could/would never afford them, but they were an excruciatingly lovely gift that I received from a dear friend last rezday. (Of course, a friend's boyfriend was cringing at my high ARC one day, turns out their shoes were the big offender at over 1000 alone! So not just horribly expensive apparently, but horribly laggy for some too...)I believe most of my other fav places have already been mentioned aside from Maitreya (simply amazing boots and far more reasonably priced)... ![]() (For self promotion look at my sig? )_____________________
