OK, so it looks like Mr. Fish is a definite possibility (because "Bob" is NOT going to happen, no matter HOW good an idea it is, please trust me on that).

I can't use Perseus, for personal reasons - I didn't think of it when I first made the list, but I had a grandparent Percy and it's just not cool that way. That leaves Wanda, Colossus and Sushi.

I'm betting on Mr. Fish. Lots of room for growth there, when it's decided he may need a Sunday-go-to-meeting name later on.

Lots of great suggestions. I'll re-read this in the morning and decide then.

not all warriors wear their armor in plain sight. the yellow betta is stealth. he is secretly dangerous. it is the hidden courage that makes a true warrior.

if you love Don Knotts (and i do too) and you are nicknamed Ghosty-

by process of combination, it stands to reason you would name this warrior fish Luther or Heggs, or Mr Chicken if you are into irony.

Ghosty....when you get a second, run to the store and grab some Beta Fix. Its a good idea to drop a dose in the water when you first get them. I think it could be the picture with the fins flopped over, but does he have a hole in his fin? It never hurts either way.

I *love* betas. I have them all over my house. Gonje. Kane. Bivwhip.

And to really sound like fish geek, this is my favorite Beta blog. This lady is a a god send.

She knows a ton about them and helps with illnesses and stuff.

Once a month or so, my home becom'e Brenda's Arthouse Theatre. For an entire week, I have movies featured on my big screen, make tons of real popcorn and other goodies and invite friends and friends of friends over. Last month was Don Knotts week, featuring Mr Limpit, The Shakiest Gun in the West and my Favoriye, The Reluctant Astronaut. I also played several of my Favotite Andy Griffith episodes with Barnet Fife at his best, including the one whe he gets the old motorcycle.

I'm a friend or a friend of a friend, or a friend of a friend of a friend.....

and I LOVE popcorn - the only true food requirement in the universe.
