Yes, there may be MORE red/blue bettas, but that doesn't make them any less pretty ;)

Once a month or so, my home becom'e Brenda's Arthouse Theatre. For an entire week, I have movies featured on my big screen, make tons of real popcorn and other goodies and invite friends and friends of friends over. Last month was Don Knotts week, featuring Mr Limpit, The Shakiest Gun in the West and my Favoriye, The Reluctant Astronaut. I also played several of my Favotite Andy Griffith episodes with Barnet Fife at his best, including the one whe he gets the old motorcycle.

He He. One of my business fantasies always was to buy an old theatre and show classic flicks.

Absolutely not. I have a little Ronnie plastic figurine that stands on my desk.

My ex and I were thinking of doing that too. Unfortunately, there are so few of them around these days, and the ones that are are in serious disrepair. Being that I work in the design business, I'm all too aware of the cost to renovate and it really frightened us off of the idea.

Ugh I just quoted the wrong post duh. So I'll start again. The following would have made no sense in relation to Ronald Regan memorabilia :)

My ex and I had the same thought. But unfortunately there are so few old theatres around and the ones that are, tend to be in serious disrepair. Being that I'm in the design business, I know all too well the costs associates with renovation. That really frightened us off from the idea.

I know a couple of people in the Contracting business, this is New Jersey after all :p , so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle. But yes, finding the right property is difficult.

True story. One day when I was with a group of friends, we were talking about movies we loved to watch, and someone mentioned "The Wizard of Oz." One woman, who grew up here in the DC area (read: not in Antarctica or some place which did not have access to television or movies), said "The Wizard of Oz? I've never seen it."

The following Saturday, I set up a movie afternoon at my house and first up was "The Wizard of Oz."

It actually was pretty comical, as everyone, with the exception of the deprived young woman, seemed to regress to the age they were when they first saw the movie. :D

I felt so much better afterward. :)

Yeah, I'm trying to convince El that my old Blockbuster Online account is a good thing to reactivate. I'll have to put this in the queue. :)

Yep, I have a close friend who hadn't seen the movie until just a couple of years ago when I turned him on. He loved it. :D

In fact, I really dig turning people on to awesome filmage they haven't seen. One of my small joys in life.
