I doubt it was a mega prim issue, another land owner on the other side has a mega prim wall right there blocking the plots from their side.

The adfarmers crapping up my area all have profiles bragging about selling micro plots. That's all their profiles mention. Their only reason for being part of SL is to extort money out of residents and make the sims look hideous. And I've TP'd into some areas, shopping and residential, that we're so asfarmed up and grotesque, I immideately TP'd out.

I am amazed, I am still able to login!

Also I got a reply to my Appeal to the AR I received, I'm not sure I fully understand the result, but anyway

Does that mean my appeal was successful? Am I able to return to what I had previously? OR is it simply some standard response and nothing has changed?

Umm.. if it's not successful, they send a chain letter stating that.. I think. Never had an AR to appeal, so I don't know for sure.

Most of these 16sqm ad farmers are straight from the SomethingAwful forums....yes, The Goons. The same bunch of arrogant basement dwelling jerks that pretty much ruined Eve Online for everyone. Their sole purpose, from day 1, has been to disrupt SL and cause as much grief as possible. They state it on their forums, they make NO secret about it at all. It would not surprise me in the slightest if they had one or more people working on the "inside" as well. BOB infiltrated the management of Eve Online, so it stands to reason the Goons could even easier pull it off here.

You have to understand their mindset: the HATE Sl, they HATE everyone who tries to build a community here. They dont care how many times they get banned, they will not give up.

Something a lot more strict needs to be done.

*Grins* they have a problem with walls but not buildings, just make walls around your entire plot put on a roof. On the inside make whatever ones transperent you want to see out of, and on the outside texture it like a building- i have yet to see anyone ar'ed for having a large building filling their plot. Sometimes things can be the same, but are treated differently by thier intended purpose.

*chortles* I could see doing a greenhouse like project for those who wish to have a yard, with the glass roof and panels. Hmm... Yes.. that works well. After all this is what mega prims are for, no? You have a devious mind and I approve!

Of course, with LL wanting SL to be Web 3D, might put a cramp in implementation, but meh, that dog won't hunt anyway.
