I figured that out eventually, but is there actually a link to jira.secondlife.com from the main SL website, cause I couldn't find it?
And if not, why not?

There's a couple ways to get to it.. One is to click on Support from www.secondlife.com and there's a link to it there. Doesn't exactly jump out at you but it is there.
I like the idea of having more roads but the more I think about the logistics of it, the more I think it might be too tricky.. _____________________

I hope LL does not get upset with my automatic vehicle system when I let free my army of roving buses loose on the Linden roads. I find a nice slow moving buss is the best way to chat with friends as you enjoy the scenery. Dearly Darling, I'm a bad driver in any universe. I'd love to take a bus tour! Anyone who likes roads that go nowhere can try Ranunculus. There is over 400 m of paved road with tunnels, a drive in restaurant, gas station and a funky cul-de-sac. Oh, and none of it was paved by LL. A neighboring sim, Yucca, has some nice road but all the signs are in Chinese.

Curious... how will you get permission from land owners who border the roads to pave them? Also, as adding a paved road may detract from looks of a sim in whole, wouldn't you need approval of all land owners in the sim?

Florenze, many sims already have protected lanes of space that were designed to be roads. Even many of the new continent sims have these protected "Linden Lanes." Why would you need bordering land owner permissions? They don't own the protected lanes. And no, you don't need everyone's approval. It is Linden land. Since when is SL a democracy?  _____________________

Not every sim has a road. Only sims that have road lands reserved as maintenance would be cared for. What Xplorer said. _____________________
