Can you still log in at your Mom's internet connection? If so, I really doubt LL blocked an entire hub........besides the message sounds like a hash up ban (the hash up of your computer specifically). And yes, LL does make mistakes and when they are pointed out to them they will correct them ASAP.

I'm not sure what service LL provides on weekends except if you are at concierge level I'm sure you have 24/7 support. Not sure about Premium but my tickets were most likely submitted on a weekend since that is my usual time on SL and any problems would be evident at that time.......but I, honestly, cannot tell you if was a weekend (only that it probably was). If you are a basic/free account I'm afraid you are at the end of the line for support.....but that's the way the world works. It sucks but free means you do not the same benefits as non-free.

Give the ticket some time. If you just submitted it Friday and LL is on a skeleton work force so it may take time to get to you......even as a premium I would not expect much until a regualar business day.

did you check your firewalls?

what's the bet your mother has the firewall set up in such a way that it's not letting the client out.

If you can post here then your account isn't banned. So check your firewalls.

yeah
i might try pressing the reset button on them though other than a hard boot...
though the modem isnt exactly resettable other than pluf unplug method.
is there a linden in the house!

Okay, exploration with my alt in the area of your last known didn't turn up a ghost, but that doesn't mean your connection isn't in a half state. So, did you actually reboot the router and/or modem?

Cause, no, you're not banned. You show up in the search and you can post here.

Are there both adult grid and teen grid accounts involved?

Okay lets review this little emotional episode a little.

Two days ago at 11:51 am (my time set according to my CP, July 11) you posted this seemingly breathless thread all upset about you possibly being banned for some unknown reasons. For quite a few responses you were told that it does not appear to be a ban since you can post in the forums......all that did not make much of an impression on you. You just spent two days ranting about being banned mistakenly by SL and wanting someone to tell you how the get it lifted or corrected. You were told several times there is not one single person here who can do that for you...it's something only you can take care of through Linden Lab. Again, that did not seem to make much of an impression on you......all the excuses about it not your fault and LL won't answer your support ticket (something that may or may not be true.........support for basic accounts is slow for obvious reasons). Now, a little over 48 hours later, you post that the problem was, in fact, your router (something several here suggested). Instead of thanking everyone who tried in good faith to help you for two days, you now are whining that it is "some cheap chineese made router and I'm not completely sure of the menusystem since it seems to be garbled english". I suppose you want someone here to tell you step by step how to configure your "cheap Chineese" router.

You know, of course, no one can do that......especially since you have neglected to even tell us the brand of that "cheap Chineese" router. What a waste of time.......but looking back it's been quite entertaining. :)

My final advice for you and this "problem"........get a new router, read the manual, figure it out or call the tech support for the router you purchase. Stay away from those "cheap Chineese" ones too.

I always do that...........bricks are the mainstay of my diet. :)

edit:

I was genuinely trying to help this guy (as were others). He found out what his problem was and never had the decency to thank a single one for their attempts to help him. Instead he decides he's going to whine some more.......that just struck me way wrong. I spouted off. Do what you want with people like the OP. I'll do what I want. Slam me is fine.........I'm immune to most here on these forums anyway.

Well, I hate to say this, but if your router is blocking the connection, there's not much any of us can do to help. Only choices I could see is that if you can't understand the menus for the router is to go to the manufacturer's website and look up the model of it to see if they have a manual for it

OR buy a new one that has a manual you can understand easily. Never had a router give me problems unless they were completely fried.
