Viewers that increase fps and don't crash

Well, after 2 days of running the KirstenLee viewer, I'm dumping it and going back to the regular LL viewer. The reasons for this are:
-No noticable increase in load time or FPS
-Already have an AV scanner
-Don't need the texture previewer cuz every project has unique textures to it
-The one extra build feature I D'loaded this thing for doesn't work in SL, only Openlife
-The latest s16 build 90 seems to have a nasty animation bug (AV anims viewed from more than 15m away play at 1.5 to 2 times normal speed)
-Love the grey and black theme, but the custom fonts dont look right... vertical spacing is all whacked.

I'll keep it around in case I might need to use the prim slice feature, but the animation thing is a buzzkill for me. I dance a LOT and seeing half of the people jumping around like they're on speed is quite annoying.

Yep, basically all that, a couple of the building features might be interesting on occasion but it's really going to be just another viewer to load up to check content against. It's pretty much the same on my hardware for all the alternative viewers, unless there are specific added features that are useful for the moment they really don't improve my in-world experience. Heh, most of the alternatives even degrade it by rolling in archaic UI bits, it's not worth the bother to back out that stuff.

I am trying out the s16osx-universal viewer. Does anyone know how the Asset Browser works? I would like to preview specific textures but it seems to display thumbnails in a random manner regardless of what is selected in the list.

"I'm not entertaining further conversation with you, as I am not
interested in your repeated assertions that I'm not seeing this.
I think you are a deliberate and malicious liar."

Can I assure you Cito Karu, is no liar. As he mentioned earlier, I introduced him to the Kristen Client, having tested it myself and found it to be the best I have seen.

Your assertion that he then came here and tried to lie and offer malicious advice suggests that I too did the same to him!

Your conspiracy theories are frankly pathetic. Cito is simply trying to improve peoples enjoyment of SL, as was I.

And if anyone has any lingering doubts about this new client I urge you to put them to one side and try it. I cannot attest for the Linux version but the windows version is a huge step forward.
