From: Raymond Figtree It sound like a bug. Or maybe they are doing this to various accounts hoping you don't notice to make up for the shortfall since Islands are now cheaper.
This could also be a fee that they are charging you for embracing change. Then Change is going to get a kick in the Nuts Actually I'd be disappointed if it just a Random Silicon Slip. I was hoping it would be some sort of Kafka esque scenario where they have rolled something out in typical fashion and will now have to do a series of backtracking explanatory blog posts.

Brenda, I mentioned to Chris a few days ago that we have a balance owed of L$385 on the Cartel Forum because we aren't charging group admin fees, yet are still posting the Hangout in Search/Places. Since you and Chris are owners of the group, maybe this is the charge? I'm not inworld so can't check Group Info/Land and L$.

Everyone in the group has the pay group liabilities checked. How in the world did it end up at 415L$ That works out to 13.83333333333333333333333...... weeks. Has anyone else noticed that group land advertisement fees aren't being paid?

From: Max Herzog Suit yourself. A vast theatre of war would be my preference, however small the issue. Maximum belligerence for dramatic effect. Yeah! A vast aerial flotilla of Cartel-owned craft converging on Schmuck Linden's Happy Office Hour. The Memphis Belle leads the formation, flanked by a P-51 and Brann's P-40. Helicopters, air cars, small spacecraft, and balloons form up behind. A swarm of one-person skyboards, led by Qie, flies top cover. Slightly to the rear, there's a King Air with a number of reporters and tourists who heard about the assault plans and want to watch. A bubblegum pink helicopter comes in low at 2 o'clock. Two beautiful, naked women stand on the skids and wave to the astonished crowd below...a most effective diversion. Trailing the armada, sputtering badly, is a small red biplane with a jaunty pilot. His mission: Cover the rubble with leaflets.

Has anyone else noticed that group land advertisement fees aren't being paid? Very odd. I haven't been charged a dern red cent for weeks and weeks. Is there any way to actually pay the Group? I guess we could deed an object to the group, set it for sale, then one of us could buy it for L$415, which should set us back to L$0. Any other suggestions?

I was wondering why i hadn't been charge the group liabilities for awhile, just thought we had enough group members so i wasn't getting charged as often.

I just checked my account, and I have been getting billed $5.88 US per month! I rolled back to basic from premium almost 8 months ago after I sold my 512 mainland. I've only rented land since then (4096sm private Island, Yay! ) Confused regarding what support ticket I can use!... The "special question for basic accounts" doesn't include option for being "ripped off" or for billing errors?!? Confused as usual, Velda. (Thanks to OP... I never would have noticed otherwise )

Try calling them,
If you have a billing issue with your Second Life account, you can call our Billing team at: toll-free (US/Canada) 800-294-1067 or long-distance (not free) 703-286-6277. They're available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Any other suggestions? you could also deed a tip jar to the group and any tips would go directly into the group (then just turn off the accounting on everyone so the group would hold the money) or have accounting turned on, on just one person... or something

Thanks for the advice Isabeau. I eventually got a reply to a ticket! From: Isabeau Imako Try calling them,

The reason they charge is there is because of when you had a premium account and had land. I'm finding it hard to smile at the response from LL ©™ Not JUST because my account STILL shows monthly charge of $5.88 Velda ®©™

From: Damien1 Thorne I have a P51 available for fighter escort. I'd bring the Space1999 Eagle, but the Legoplane seems to fly better
