Egads. I need to go back to sleep. I read that as....

LOL I understand their is this commercial in USA that has kid wearing a house saying, "I am a cozy little home." But every time the commercial is on my boyfriend and I hear "I am cozy little Ho." LOL
As a Baby Avatar I actually wore no Pants, just a diaper. Sometimes for additionally accessories a baby bib, rattle or bottle and other times sometimes a cigar.

I've just completed a script for a baby for a lady. We worked together on what she wanted and it seems she's more than happy with the result.

She did the model I just provided the scripting.

Cost a her a whole lot more than 5K though.

They don't work - they leak.:p

So do babies.
Unless you tie a real tight knot in the chord, they go whizzing all over the room and end up in the corner as a crumpled piece of skin.

Ok I don't understand this, you have a very sensible thread on child av's and point out the good points, the bad points, the moral dilemmas!

And then on possibly such a sensitive issue on 'parents' wanting to role play having a baby you decide the poster should be ridiculed?

What if they can't have babies in real life and just want to experience the process, even if it isn't 'real', does that matter, it's their choice, the world they want to create in SL and as long as it doesn't hurt other residents, why be cruel to them.

I knew it was only a matter of time before another "I was ripped off by a virtual fertility clinic" thread came along. We've already gone through all the other perennial topics this week... SL "banks", gambling, age player, Goreans, etc. This was just due up in the rotation.

To the OP, sorry you were ripped off, but by naming names in these forums, you are the one more likely to suffer any official sanctions. LL has a "hands off" policy in regards to disputes between residents over goods and services. In the future, please remember that SL is a world where "caveat emptor" rules the day. Research the seller before spending your money, no matter whether you're buying estate land, sex beds, or belly shapes and prim babies. Any "clinic" should be able to provide names of other residents as references that you can talk to before handing over any money.

That is, as Jonathan Swift might write, a Modest Proposal. :)

Hey Aki: You locked one thread the other day. How about cleaning up some of this trash?

Hey Aki...Aki...Aki...

There's an echo in here...

There are posts in other threads here supporting the murder of George Bush.

Obviously LL has chosen not to enforce forum rules to any significant degree.

I think you can rest assured they have their limits, but they aren't limits that are based on following rules or causing trouble for users.

LL can't provide good service to the volume of users it currently has. If a few leave SL sooner than they otherwise would because they don't get the polite support forum SL claims to offer but doesn't provide, LL is none the worse for it.

There is probably more support to be had in running a stupid, hateful, contentious, self absorbed, navel-gazing, "Pro-Wrestling Style" forum than a support forum anyway.

It does give on the feeling that it's a combat based game company rather than a platform provider.

Over on secondlifegrid.net where LL is trying to make itself look serious and presentable and marketable to business and govenment, does it refer people to the forums for support?

Gee People pay 5k for Prim babies?
Wow.
I didn't think anyone would be interested any object that wasn't clothes or sex related.

That was my reaction too. 5000 for a pair of identical prim babies? I think you can buy a real baby for that in some parts of the world, so I have heard.... Best way is the free way of course! :)

This is tasteless on so many levels. But perfect for the current state of Resident Answers.

Which is why I'm deciding to back out of here for at least a few days. It's just two damn depressing to look at the list of topics much less delve into the threads.

What is ridiculous is that this poster put this in every single forum possible, and none of these damned threads are locked. Pathetic.

When we first read that at school, we couldn't believe he wrote that. THEN our teacher told us it was a satire. ;)

Well I just don't read or reply such low grade material.
There is no Mod.
So we have to either retreat from the forum or just fend for ourselves doing what we do on newsgroups all the time, stop paying them attention.

Isn't a baby a product made because of the sex? :D

Not always I hear they can make them with cloning, test tubes and can be found under Cabbage Patches.
The Prim kind come from Prim cells arranged in creative way with lots of texture mapping or I think so I assume they are similar to my tinies

It appears that the OP is so upset by this and posting in every forum possible makes him feel a little better about things and that he is helpfully warning others..so not really ridiculous. If there is a scam happening in other areas such as Real estate, clothing or skins, people are usually grateful for the warning so the same should be with this warning. As said, the state of the forum at the moment is allowing for anything to be said or done so we live with it for now or dont come into the forums ;-)
