I need weapons suggestions

It looks like there's to be a snowball fight on zindra between the residents and LL scheduled sometime soon.

snowballs are just not going to cut it. I don't even know how to throw something inworld, let alone aim.. and before anyone tells me the intricacies of it, if it involves mouselook forget it, I have been into mouselook probably 3 times since mid 2006 and each time was by accident.

So I need something that I can aim in a general direction and it's a weapon of mass destruction. It's got to be idiot proof as I really don't like weapons and have no desire to learn how to use them. I will however make an exception for this.

I thought something thermo-nuclear might be a simple solution but I'm open to suggestions.

oh, and I suppose it does have to fire snowballs of some sort. I thought about torleys watermelon gun thing just to add a bit of colour.

I have a helicopter gunship you can borrow. I don't know if it can be modified to fire snowballs though.

A friend of mine uses an Empower HUD which seems to do just about anything just by the press of a button from casting spells of pretty butterflies, to bombing everyone out of a sim, and everything in between. No mouselook is involved. (I don't know if its got snowballs though)

I just have visions of CouldBe becoming the owner of the largest arsenal of weapons in the whole of SL after posting this one!

that's just a beautiful image you've given me. up the river and into the sim and it will bring me in behind where the residents fort is.

one problem though, the last (and only) thing I've ever flown is cubey's magic carpet (yep, back in my newb days) and even then I was so crap at it that I gave up after about 15 minutes because i kept hitting ban lines - no matter how hard I tried to steer away from them.

So, do you fancy flying the thing while I man the guns?

Check out Ordinal Malaprop, I think that's where I was hit by a snowball machine last year.

If it's mod, just replace the bullet in the guns with snowballs.

A lot of the freebie machineguns and shotguns could be modded to fire snowballs. That would be glorious, except as far as I know they all use mouselook.

Oh yeah! That has to be done to the sound of 'Ride of the Valkyries' a la Apocalypse Now!

She has some fun weapons, including a snowball-firing turret (you can set it to fire at anyone that comes near) and a weapon that rapid-fires a bunch of snowballs.

You might want to double check on the details. I'm pretty sure that "snowballing" has a completely different definition on Zindra.

perhaps it should be a flotilla flying in formation up the river.. Considering my complete lack of skills in this flying/shooting thing all they'll have to do is get one carefully lobbed snowball and I'll probably be debris in the snow before you know it.. So having backup is probably a good idea. I'll distract them with my aeronautical incompetence and you lot can go in for the kill

Ordinal has a fantastic steam powered snow gatling gun. It can fire about 20 snowballs per second, and just cover and area.

If that isn't good enough, then the Egg Gatling Gun - 150 eggs per second, very satisfying splatters

If you want fire and forget, then the combat drones from Widlfyre - you just rez them, tell them a name, and they go to town

Oh, I love Ordinal's whimsical yet effective weapons. But I just have to get a stockpile of these. I've got a long list of names, all ending in "Linden", that I'm going to paint on their little noses.

Hmm ... I am wondering if their radar invisibility would defeat the script though.
