I wanna go out in my wellies and make snowbird shapes on the lawn and stuff snowballs up my sister's jumper and build a snowman with an extra carrotty bit and rush back in and change to dry woollies and sip steaming hot chocolate by the fire. Snow's great. Instant reversion to an 8 year old. Love it. |

A few weeks ago, I started a thread here on Resident answers that was inflamitory, insulting, and probably perceieved as racist to some. I'm not here to rehash any of it, just to deliver a formal apology to any I hurt, offended or insulted. I had a bit too much wine, and I engaged my mouth (typing fingers) without engaging my brain. I apologize for any remarks I made that were hurtful or inappropriate. When I woke up the next morning, and read what I wrote, I was ashamed and embarrassed. I've spent my time since then, figuratively, with my nose in the corner, thinking about what I did, and why it was wrong. Again I apologize to any I offended. Can I come out of the corner now? Thank you, in advance. Dani I just read your "American's are rude" thread. Is that the one you're sorry about? Don't be. Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing. |
