A few weeks ago, I started a thread here on Resident answers that was inflamitory, insulting, and probably perceieved as racist to some. I'm not here to rehash any of it, just to deliver a formal apology to any I hurt, offended or insulted.
I had a bit too much wine, and I engaged my mouth (typing fingers) without engaging my brain. I apologize for any remarks I made that were hurtful or inappropriate. When I woke up the next morning, and read what I wrote, I was ashamed and embarrassed. I've spent my time since then, figuratively, with my nose in the corner, thinking about what I did, and why it was wrong. Again I apologize to any I offended.
Can I come out of the corner now?

You and I had a few rounds in that previous thread and you really pissed me off. But I have a great respect for you now. Regardless of whether you had too much wine or just bad judgment, we all say things we regret later. To stand forward afterwards and apology takes great courage and shows tremendous character.
